Over the past few years I have suffered with a blocked Meibomian gland. This causes some Chalazions in my eyelid which ended up requiring surgery because I failed to unblock the gland. More recently this has developed into Blepharitis and I have had numerous consultations with Opthalmologists.The long and short of it is heat and hygiene are the best cure, at least to keep it stable. I was recommended an "Eyebag" last year which heats in a microwave and stays warm for around 30 minutes. Unfortunately using a microwave to heat it twice a day is a hard habit to form so it never really helped that much.This product has solved all these problems and maintains constant heat (at just the right amount at 50°C) over the selected time. I usually put it on as I go to bed without practically zero prep required, and it's actually very enjoyable and calming, and even helped improve my sleeping habits! Yes, you can fall asleep with it on as I have many times, it switches off automatically when the timer finishes. I rarely use the water anymore, it makes it slightly more calming but it's not completely necessary.I noticed my eye clear up over only a couple of days use and haven't had any problems since! I just have to look a bit like an old man before I go to sleep.If I had to nitpick, the quality could be improved a little. They have cut some costs to keep it cheap as follows:- The strap is just basic elastic, it can rub a little behind the ears- The ergonomics don't create 100% blackout if you wanted to use it as a traditional sleep mask, the light comes in a little around the nose arch- It plugs in with a needle nosed pin by the mask (a bit old school) and then to usb. You'll need to use your own USB plug adapter for this.- Some of the materials feel a bit cheap, especially the zip which is more on par with something like a pencil caseHowever, these do not affect the main benefits of the product and it's still extremely comfortable. I definitely recommend for anyone else with similar conditions as me! 5 Stars!

Great product for anyone with 'dry eyes'. It makes a huge difference and is so well designed.I have been very impressed with this product and company. This is not a paid review, but I did receive a second free eye mask for the following reason.My initial (another brand) warm eye mask stopped working after 6 months. The cover was not washable and it needed to be, so I looked for another brand. I chose this one. The cover is much nicer, washable and more comfortable, plus it comes with a ear plugs and a water spray bottle, all great. However the first night I came to use it the cable was going to be on the right, and my plug is on the left of the bed. I unzipped it so the cable could come out on the left and used safety pins. It worked a treat and was very soft on the eyes. I emailed Vindar and said if you could have the option of which side the cable came out even better. They came back to me immediately and said they would review this in the next batch. Two months later they have sent me one of the 'new design' to try and to review. It works perfectly. 2 zip pulls mean that you can have the cable coming out of either side. It washes perfectly and I am a very happy user. My 'dry eyes' have been so much better since using this morning and evening. I was sceptical but it has made a huge difference.Thanks Vindar, for the listening to and acting on customer feedback so quickly.

Doesn't get anywhere near to 50', barely even warm.

Certainly goes someway towards soothing dry eye. However inconvenient being tethered to power outlet.

I bought this as I was told by a consultant to use a heat mask as part of managing my blepharitis and I find it's plenty hot enough. It has variable heat and time settings, so you can vary it to suit what you need/like, it heats up quickly and stays at a constant temperature for the time it's on. The elastic headband is wide, adjustable and comfortable.I had been using a microwave gel mask, but found it uncomfortable as it pressed on my eyeballs and it cooled down quickly. It was OK but not particularly pleasant and initially having to do this twice a day felt like a bit of a chore.But since I got this mask I look forward to it, it's soft and comfy, cosy even. I listen to some music or a podcast while it's on and so far it's just been quite pleasant and relaxing.Four hear settings, four times settings and it comes with a handy pouch for storage/travel. I use a power bank so I can use it anywhere, which makes it really convenient.I'm still getting my head around having to do my eyecare routine twice a day, so the easier and more pleasant I can make it the more likely it is to happen and my eyes will stay healthier as a result. I think this mask will help with that.

Great eye mask, I’ve suffered from dry eyes for a while before finding out heated eye masks help, this one is great. Very comfortable and I’ve seen noticeable difference since using it. Definitely recommend.
