Russian Gypsy Fortune Telling

Like many divination card lovers, I own multiples of different card decks - tarot, rune, oracle, fairy, Lenormand, etc. If you are familiar to those cards, you would notice that each deck has its character/strong points - some of those are more objective, some of those are psychological, and so on. And each of them are more or less accurate on their own accord, depending on the type of the questions you ask and the answers/advices you are seeking. In my opinion, this Russian Gypsy Fortune telling cards are darn good at forecasting events (i.e. fortune telling) as well as giving down-to-earth advices. Accuracy comes without saying, and this seem to be true for whether its a long-term forecasting (like month, year, etc) or short-term advice (e.g. questions like "what should I know about the coming important meeting?"). I have used this card in both ways, short and long-terms, and either ways it gives very useful advices as well as the accurate predictions of events that might come up. The advices are, as said before, very grounded so that instead of messages like "Trust your intuition" or "Divine force will guide you", it would say something like "It is up to you to make the first move to ensure the relationship endures. Your action or will power can change your circumstances"(and followed by some more suggestions). Honestly, especially when you are having troubles and seeking for advices, these type of messages are so much more helpful - since obviously you are asking advice because you cannot find or follow your intuition in the first place...! It certainly tells you negative aspects if that is happening/happened, but alternatively gives you hints & tips of wise actions to prepare for or to avoid/minimise the damage. The beauty of the card is that, because of the system of how the card works, what are necessary will show up. (and so what is not necessary won't). I found this particularly helpful - when you are doing a reading for yourself sometimes it is hard to just be objective and grounded, but intuitive in the same time. Often in tarot cards and alike, you're bound to draw some cards inevitably for the sake of the spread and when you are not too well grounded you might be guessing all the possible meanings of this "reversed-'Star'" card might be mentioning - which could just be saying that you don't have to worry. In this Russian Gypsy cards, if you are worried of something and that something is NOT happening, then the cards will literally tell you that either your worries are for nothing or simply doesn't warn you. If it IS happening, it will most likely tell you what sort of cause it might have and where to look for solutions. Sometimes I get only few pictures, and sometimes 9~12. Quite often when you are more serious and specific about the question, so will be the answer and the number of the pictures that will show up. Lastly, as many people have mentioned, the images are pretty pleasing. I'm not particularly picky about the images of the cards (Id prefer accuracy) but still I appreciate this hand-drawn looking beautiful images which are pleasing everytime you do the reading (even those 'negative' pictures are pretty... oh well) And like many people have pointed out, I agree that the quality of the cards are pretty shoddy. Possibly the most thinnest cards I have owned so far. The quality of the book and the casing are fantastic - if only the publisher would spend a little more effort in the quality of the card rather than, say, the casing. I would certainly have to laminate or do something to strengthen this card otherwise this will certainly fall-apart in month time. Overall, I would recommend this cards to any divination card lovers - beginner or expert.

I love these cards. For me they have always 'told true'. They function mainly on a minor scale - they warn of impending financial trouble, or gains, family spats, loss or change of employment, minor aliments, and major ones too when necessary. I love the cards, but what makes the package so special is the book. It lays out the method for using the cards in a clear, straightforward manner. Interpretation us covered in great detail and beautifully laid out; the meanings for all symbols in the four positions they may fall in are nicely set forth in a mixture of divinatory lore and experience garnered over many decades of reading the symbols. Glad I found these cards.

Very good for tarot readers also quite accurate and direct make sure you read up on the book first as it was a bit confusing to begin with but I would say once you got the hang of it there great

I always struggled with using fortune cards, as many combinations are either quite scary or simply blank, these cards, however, are very rich in illustrations and have different meanings which are much easier to read than with others. I also found that they were more linked to traditional Tarot cards and thus, more believable. Interestingly, they can also show the past connected to a situation, which is another link to Tarot and therefore, I found these cards as well as the book absolutely great.These cards also don't lie, I tried them now for months and it is quite spooky how they show the future. The amazing part is in explanations, the author gives absolutely stunning advice and wisdom for everyday life. If you live your life according to moral principles, then you can indeed turn your fortune around. It is more than a fortune guide book, it is life wisdom in a small book!

I totally love the cards , I love the colours and there so unusual , when a friend first showed me them i had to have them. i also like the history of them. I love how they match up , the colours are so vibrant

Cards too thin and difficult to shuffle

These cards are simply amazing. If you ask a question, you'll basically receive a roadmap on how to get there, what you will encounter, pro's and con's. The cards will also warn you e.g. if your health is decreasing or if you're in some kind of danger - although it might have nothing to do with your original question.

I have used these cards for 10yrs now and absolutely love them. I’ve used tarot and oracle also but the Russian picture cards are very accurate for both short term and long term readings. Highly recommended.

After reading the countless reviews on the extremely poor quality of the cards, I decided to check out the ‘Used’ editions, on AmazonI found one listed in ‘Very Good’ condition, that stated all of the cards were included and intactI bought that one, instead of a new one, knowing the cards would be of the previous quality, the older editions embodiedIt actually arrived in ‘New’ condition-pristine all around-probably never even been used, as the binding was still tight on the book and felt like I had opened it for the first time!The cards aren’t as substantial as most of my tarot decks, but definitely not flimsy paper, as virtually all reviewers are complaining about with the ‘New’ editions; however they are stiff cardboard cards and will shuffle well with no worry of damage or wearThe cards are the main attraction, so I don’t understand why they would be so cheapened down, to the point of being just about useless !!Shame on the publishers !!If you wanted to save a buck-you should have cheapened down the packaging!!The slot that the book and cards go into would be a great starting point!!The packaging is thick cardboard and the book is sturdy as wellThis doesn’t make sense to me!Most-if not all of us-would GLADLY pay more money for decent, sturdy cards!!The cards that came with mine are definitely cardboard, and are perfectly acceptable and will not wear out; however, my favorite decks always are of thicker, sturdier material and often the edges are gilded, which is very coolPUT THE LOVE INTO THE CARDS!!The cards are the ESSENCE of this product!!At any rate-I bypassed the chintzy paper cards by buying ‘Used’Mine is a 1992 edition and I am very pleased that I outsmarted the greed, and purchased a decent printing of this deck of cards

J avais déjà un autre jeu de ce style mais avec des cartes plus petites. Les cartes sont fines mais je les mélange à plat sur la table donc pas de risque de les abîmer. Les réponses son toujours précises. Jeu facile à utiliser. Livraison rapide

se mi chiedessero di abbandonare tutte le cose materiali che possiedo tranne una io senza ombra di dubbio salverei queste carte. sono la cosa più incredibile che possiedo. le consulto spessissimo, mi hanno aiutata in tanti momenti difficili, anche quando sembra non dicano niente di azzeccato in realtà ci beccano e danno spunti interessanti di riflessione. sono davvero un tesoro da usare con rispetto. mi sento fortunata ad averle trovate e le custodisco gelosamente.ah tra le tante cose mi hanno anche predetto un terremoto che dopo poco s'è verificato. non potevi crederci. alcuni diranno coincidenza? io non credo. queste carte sono potenti. veramente.

Me encantó la presentación, trae un libro súper completo, no el típico librito feo de la mayoría de los oráculos que a veces ni se usa, este definitivamente vale la pena. Las cartas son súper bonitas, lo único es que si son un poco delgadas, tal vez las tenga que enmicar más adelante, pero sí lo recomiendo y vale lo que pagas.
