This is a very poor product. The electrical connection is loose. The switch is poor quality. The kettle does not even turn on. Very poor quality. Do not buy. They will not accept a return only replacement. Very disappointedbby amazon service.

I use to prepare rice and boiled eggs. in travel we use to prepare ceralac for kids. very classy design. Brand issure safety prevention in kettle from overheating.
