Card quilty sturdy

I use this for my 3yr old and love it she’s understanding and sounding words out ! I can’t wait till she starts actually reading 🙌🏾

My son is 2.5 yrs old and I decided to go with teaching him reading through phonics instead of memorization. These are awesome because you get different stages and they are separated by color. We are using the green ones which is the first stage and he is slowly picking up more words. I will show him the cards and he points to the word. Next to the word is also a picture to help them link the two together. This is a great value considering that you have cards to use with your little one from the time their reading journey begins until they are reading independently.

This flash card set offers a good assortment of sight words for early reading; however, its weakness is that it doesn't begin at the beginning. While it does incorporate several blends, there are also many missing. Qu (/k/ /w/), for example, is not included. Cards focusing on individual letter sounds are also excluded; thus, it presumes that the child will already know the alphabet be able to distinguish between hard and soft/long and short letter applications. It's an okay set of cards, otherwise; they're fine for training early literacy skills but could certainly be improved.

My kindergarten and first grader both use these to practice their sight words. They are great quality, colorful and have a ton of words to practice. We love the color coding for how often to practice.
