Excelente máquina
Me gusta más que la galletadora (biscuit) en unión de marcos. Para tablas es similar.

Pretty good
Much more accurate than I thought. Do use a square to get a true 90 though when setting it up. My only annoyance is 8mm dowels don t fit snuggly enough in holes. I might give a go with 3/8 dowells event though that might be way too big. My workaround is flattening a bit the dowells for now but I hope to find some that fit well. Because apart from that it s great

Excellent product works well.
the best part is the freedom you get without a cord, bluddy brilliant. I am a bit disappointed, in the picture it showed that there was 2 sets off drills 8mm and 6mm I got the 8mm. am still waiting for the 6mm.when using it I found that the dust extraction port on the bottom was a hinderance I think it would be better on the side. And even better if you could be able to remove it for when you put it away.Just a thought something to think about. An excellent product THANKYOU.

Maybe I got a lemon?
Faceplate was not straight so alignment of dowels was off.

Great for non-precision joints...
This dowel jointer works very much like a biscuit jointer and even a bit like a Domino jointer. However, the one thing that's not possible with dowels is being able to adjust the fit of the joint during glue-ups. Therefore, you have to be extremely accurate with your markings and extremely accurate aligning the tool to your markings when cutting the dowel holes.I wanted to test the dust collection but did not have an adapter for my shop vac to adapt to the 1 1/2" wide dust collection connector on the tool. I'm glad that there's dust collection capabilities but the dust collection is from the bottom of the tool - not from the side. So, the workpiece will have to be clamped at the edge of a workbench to keep the tool-fence and dust collection from interfering with the cut. The dust collection connector is very short - only 1/2" (see photo). So, it will be difficult to keep a dust collection hose attached to the tool without it falling off. It would have to be a very tight fit.It is very easy to change the depth of the cut and the depth to the center of the workpiece. Since this cuts two dowel holes at once, the accuracy will be good for aligning the joining workpiece so no problem there. The issue would be getting a box or frame completely square. It would all depend on how accurately you marked the workpiece and how accurately you held the tool during the cut. If you have jobs where being precisely square is not that big of an issue, this tool gives you an economical option for joinery.
