As a journeyman electrician aiming for master's certification, this book was incredibly helpful. The theoretical and practical knowledge blend is well-executed, and the author's direct mentorship is a unique feature. Digital flashcards and audiobooks were highly useful, especially during commutes.

Could not access the flash cards due to it not supporting the file. Otherwise this book is in great condition has a lot of information needed for the test and will come in handy for when I am ready to take my test.

The media could not be loaded. Terrible composition. It leaps from one topic to the next with no explanation. It’s talking about switches, then electrical safety practices, then goes very in depth about repulsion motors, and that’s just in 4 pages. Almost no diagrams or pictures. It’s filled with random electrical information in no particular order. In other places, there is text that’s just missing: questions with no answers, paragraphs that go nowhere.As for the practice tests, they’re often simplistic, and elsewhere just factually wrong. They were clearly written by someone with a tenuous grasp on the code, and many True/False questions can’t be answered without more information. I wouldn’t trust the Answer Key as far as I could throw it. This is clearly just a money grab and is not a useful study material.
