Lovely but expensive for what it is
A nice steel kettle that is sturdy and very quick. It's also a lovely retro design which is what you are paying for really. Looks great but is no better at boiling water than a £20 kettle.

Awesome kettle bit expensive but looks great and I love that you can really hear it boiling like an old school kettle like my grandmother had

Good Looking Chrome Kettle
This product looks great and the quality is very good. The kettle is quite heavy, especially if filled full. A little disappointed it doesnt "rapid boil" but other than that would highly recommend. Great choice of colours.

Was expensive but well worth it..So pleased with then.

Stylish kettle
I purchased the silver Smeg kettle and I love it. It’s so shiny but easy to keep clean with dettol spray and a green minky cloth.The switch is lovely to turn on and lights up a white light when the kettle is boiling.The filter is removable from the spout for ease of cleaning.Amazon was the cheapest online store I found it too.

Expensive
This is the second kettle and toaster set I have have from smeg. The first being in pink which leaked eventually from the water gauge and the paint started peeling around the lid. Replaced with this one and just after 12 months it sounds like an approaching avalanche when switched on and the lid is not opening.

There have been given a hard time due to cost but this is a great Kettle and looks like you invested in a high quality boiler!
