Absolute MUST after foot/ankle surgery
I had surgery on my foot a couple of weeks ago and was told that I must keep it elevated 23 out of 24 hours (at a level above my heart). My plan had been to use a couple of memory foam pillows, but I was concerned about how they would stay in place during the night. At the 11th hour I ordered this ‘wedge’ and I honestly don’t think I could have coped without it. It stays firmly in place, holds its shape and is perfect for my 5ft3 height. Some people have mentioned that it’s too high, but if you’re buying for post operative reasons then you’re definitely going to need it, as any lower would not reduce inflammation. Sure, it bobbles a bit after a couple of weeks use but that’s just cosmetic. Definitely worth the money.

Came in really handy after surgery
I bought this to use after breast reduction surgery, as you need to sleep propped up for a few weeks. It did have a bit of a funny smell when it arrived, which disappeared after a few weeks, so that’s something to bear in mind if you’re buying it last minute. It also doesn’t come with a cover, which I didn’t realise when I ordered it.It was an absolute lifeline after surgery though, and I’ve used it for a second surgery since. It has kept its shape and is still really supportive. It can be used in two ways, I used the lower angle at night to begin with but found that I was sliding down it and basically using it as a pillow so it wasn’t doing its job. I then switched to using it at the higher angle to sleep with (I used this angle during the day anyway) and it was just better as keeping me propped up.If you find it too stiff, try using a soft pillow between it and you.Overall I got a lot of use out of this so I would say it is worth the money.

Excellent
Bought this for my husband being nursed at home. Gave just the right amount of elevation, support and comfort, well made too.

Firmness and shape ok but the smell!!!
I have a post nasal drip due to a nasal polyp and a deviated septum which makes sleeping difficult. This shaped cushion was a cheap method to try to hopefully make sleeping easier. Firmness and incline are fine. It’s a little narrow but it’s not an issue - I’d have had to pay quite a bit more to get a wider one. It has provided some relief from my symptoms. On construction and functionality I’m satisfied. The big downside is the appalling smell - it smells like something that has got very damp and has dried out. It’s strong enough to transfer to other bedding. You don’t just smell it when your head’s on it, you smell it when you enter the bedroom. If I hadn’t needed it just for the short term due to my nose surgery being scheduled for about 3 weeks time I probably would have returned it on the grounds of the smell

Very comfortable
Very comfortable, the support is great, plus it helps with my pain issues. Would be useful to be able to choose additional covers instead of the white one supplied, so it doesn't look so medicinal Maybe something could be offered at time of purchase.

Not comfortable and smelly
Had to send back as there was a smell coming from it and it wasn’t comfortable.

So helpful!
Has definitely helped my swollen feet and ankles. So comfortable and easy to use. Nice and firm. Doesn't collapse like the pile of cushions I was using before every time I moved. Recommended.
