I've been taking Niagen or one of it's analogs for some years and am convinced it helps my entire metabolism work better due to its' effects on cellular metabolism throughout the body. I now consider it a critical nutrient in my anti-aging protocol. This is the first combination product I've seen that includes pterostilbene vs resveratrol, which is intriguing because pterostilbene has similar actions to resveratrol (another critical nutrient) but is 4X as bioavailable!According to online literature Resveratrol is best to ingest along with the Niagen as they work synergistically and lack of either diminishes effectiveness of both. Since Niagen and its analogs are all kinda pricey, it's best to take Resveratrol or pterostilbene at the same time to maximize one's benefits from taking both substances.This product is no more expensive than either of the others I've taken in the past. The NR level is a bit less than the first of the other products, which has 300mg/serving of Niagen. It seems to contain much less NR than the product I've alternated using with the first one, which has 415mg of Nicotinamide riboside malate vs 300mg of Nicotinamide riboside chloride (Niagen).I'll guess the malate form is a heavier molecule as it's intended to deliver about the same dose as the first product, but without using the patented Niagen form.I have no reason to believe this is not a quality product from a good manufacturer.

Overall this is a great supplement from a top notch brand. If you’re not familiar with NR or pterostilbene, these are two longevity supplements that are rapidly growing in popularity and for good reason - the research is supporting their use for increasing NAD and providing more cellular energy, among other things.I’m experienced with both NR and NMN supplementation and have used brands such as Tru Niagen and Renue by Science, so I was excited to try one from ProHealth as they are also a quality, trusted brand. I’m very happy with the effects I’ve felt from this supplement thus far. The price is also much better than competitors.The only qualm is that I recently read some research show that this combo of NR and pterostilbene may increase bad cholest - that concerns me a bit as I am currently working to lower mine. Only time and tests will tell. The research was conducted on a dose that was double this size, so I’m not overly concerned but figured it was worth noting. The effect was not seen on groups who were treated with NR only (no pterostilbene).I also wish they didn’t use rice flour as a filler as I am on a grain free diet. However, at least rice flour is much better than toxic excipients used by other brands.

I've been taking these for a couple weeks now, but it's really difficult to validate the product claims. I can say that the capsules are nice and small, so easy to swallow. I can also say the packaging is sized appropriately to the contents which is a not uncommon issue with supplements.I feel no ill effects, so that's good.

Pros:- I've been taking Niagen and believe it helps my metabolism and is a critical nutrient in my anti-aging protocol.- I find the combination of Niagen and pterostilbene intriguing as pterostilbene is more bioavailable than resveratrol.- The price of this product is competitive with others I've used in the past.- I trust ProHealth as a quality brand and am happy with the effects of their supplement.- The capsules are small and easy to swallow, and the packaging is appropriately sized.- I've seen an increase in my energy level and general health within a week of starting the pterostilbene and NR capsules (but this coukd be due to other factors as well).Cons:- There is some concern that the combination of NR and pterostilbene may increase bad cholesterol, which is something I'm currently trying to lower.- I wish the product didn't use rice flour as a filler since I am on a grain-free diet.- It's difficult to validate the product claims fully

This ProHealth NR + Pterostilbene. Promotes Longevity, Energy, and Healthy Aging,( brand) I have been taking for the last 3 weeks. Very nice package, as well as the capsules are very easy to take and swallow. I have not felt any difference, since taking this, but then again, maybe it is too soon. This product should probably be taken for quite some time to really tell a difference. I may have a little increased in energy, but it can also be caused by many day-to-day factors.

I take prescription, traditional, prescribed medicine. I want to try some of these natural and other nontraditional methods. I was advised by the doctor not to mix the two. However, my plan is to give natural products a try. My method is to take tradition medicines on a twelve-hour basis. Then take natural medicine on the in-between 6 hours basis. I will need to get up during the night to take the natural medicines but I am awake periodically during the night.These natural medicines are mostly unregulated. So, I look for supplements and vitamins that are GMP (General Manufacturing Procedure) accredited. I also check for third party testing. I waited to take most of these before reviewing and I don’t feel worse but I don’t feel better either. Is it beneficial to my body? Yes, but if I don’t feel if it is really working then I probably will not sustain it.
