Ive been researching the best knee support online and on forums, and iv'e heard a lot of good feedback for the Bauerfeind. I bought it mostly for martial arts and sports. I have a torn ACL, haven't yet had surgery, but i didnt want to completely be out of it so I pulled the trigger on this one. I have to tell you it is the best knee brace i have ever worn, at one point i completely forgot i even had it. And whats even better is it has two plastic supports on each side which bend with the knee, I took them out (they would definitely be a no go for martial arts) so that was a very good feature. The ability to take the supports out turns this into a regular knee brace, and if you want something stronger just put them back in and you have great added support for walking or running. I would highly recommend this knee brace.My motto is buy once, and buy something that will not only last but will fit you and your lifestyle. It is a little more expensive, but you will definitely feel the difference.
