Very comfortable
I tried these on a whim and I am really happy with them. The fit is true and they offer more support than I anticipated.

Great shoes but the heel blistering makes them unwearable
The shoes are everything I thought they would be but wearing them with non blistering running socks still gives me horrible blisters on my heels. The fit is perfect but I guess there's something about them or my feet that doesn't work out. A quick internet search seems to indicate that I'm not the only one. It's a shame but they're going back.

Believe the hype...they really are THAT comfortable!
I had entertained getting a pair of Allbirds for a while now so I jumped at the chance when given the opportunity to try this new offering from them.NOW I get it! Now I understand what all the hype is about with these shoes and why you see so many people wearing them around town.First, let's talk about the basics - they do not come in half sizes so you must size up. This is actually a good thing because these fit so well that having a little room only makes them MORE comfortable. They are very well made - the wool is well blended. If you have never owned a pair of wool shoes before, it's a bit of a different fit and feel than leather or canvas. There are well done wool shoes, and there are not well done wool shoes. I have another pair from a different brand that started out as nice looking and now that I have worn them a few times...they are looking a bit haggard. I chalk this up to the wool not being tightly blended enough. I am willing to bet a considerable amount of cash that this will NEVER be a problem with these shoes because the blend is just THAT good.Now...comfort. This is where these really shine. They truly feet like you aren't even wearing shoes at all...and this is a good thing! The soles are foam that is made from ethically sourced, natural ingredients and you can definitely tell the first time you put these on. The rest of the shoe is also made from natural materials too (obviously, wool) which is awesome. Even the laces are nice quality and they stay tied without much fuss. I don't know how Allbirds managed to make SUCH a comfortable, low maintenance, "just put them on and go" shoe, but they did. Wow!The design. It's a classic style that matches with everything. I got the black on natural white bottom (which looks like a whitewall) and they look fantastic with jeans, khakis or shorts. No big gaudy logos, no nothing on these...just the shoe. There is a logo on a tiny flap in the tongue. So if you are not into being a walking advertisement for a shoe company, you're going to love these. Simple, elegant (which is not something you typically say about a running shoe) and just plain nice looking.Durability. Here is something that this shoe does that most others I own does NOT. They hold up in the rain. Yes, even though they are wool. It seems that these shoes have some kind of treatment on them that repels water and it really, REALLY works. They got a baptism by fire so to speak - the very day I got them, it was raining BUCKETS here and I decided to wear them out to really give them a good test. My feet stayed comfortable and bone dry, even after running out a bit far to the parking lot to get in the car after a dinner we went to. THAT impressed me, to say the least. AND...the rubber soles were remarkably "grippy" so I didn't worry that I was going to slide while walking on the wet sidewalk either. This was somewhat of a surprise since they don't LOOK any different than a walking/light running shoe. But there is definitely a difference in performance, no doubt. And finally...caring for them is an absolute breeze. They are machine washable so even if you get yourself into some STUFF while wearing them, you can pop them in the washer and voila, they look good as new and ready for the next adventure.Overall, I don't think I could possibly be any more pleased with these shoes. They are absolutely phenomenal in every way. I love them so much I am definitely ordering another pair in a different color.I highly, highly recommend these. They are worth every penny and then some. I would rate these 5,000 stars if I could!

I now believe the hype when it comes to Allbirds
Of course, like most people, I was aware of Allbirds as a brand of shoe that has becoming increasingly popular over the past few years, but I was always hesitant to pay the amount needed to get a pair to see what the brouhaha was about.Well, now that I've finally gotten a pair of these Allbird Mizzles, I think I finally get it. These shoes are super comfortable - they started out a little tight, but I have wider feet, so it just took a bit to work them in, but once I did, they fit comfortably and the "water-resistant" label really works. They probably aren't 100% waterproof, but they definitely do the job when it's rainy out, my feet stay/feel dry wearing just what seems to be stylish, sneakers/shoes. These are quality shoes made from quality materials - and they both look and feel very well made. I think that Allbirds started a trend of similar type shoes, but it makes sense that they are what started this trend - with a classic look that can be worn daily with just about anything short of business/formal wear. I definitely like the white bottom shoes a little better than the black bottom ones, but they do look a little more casual. I was lucky enough to have an Allbirds store near me so that I could check out the different styles ahead of time, but these just are just excellent shoes.

Shoes are Tight at First But Stretch Over Time
These shoes get more comfortable over time. They were very tight in the footbed at first so it felt like the toes were being smashed. They have loosened up after a few wears. The size was the perfect size and the shoes are very comfortable all around.
