Solid die cast car with a finicky hood ornament
Got this for my car obsessed 9 year old. The moving parts of the car work well, (doors don’t stick, wheels roll well) but the interchangeable hood ornament is extremely difficult to swap out. I had to use tweezers and a micro screwdriver to swap them, and ended up breaking one in the process. I think as long as you don’t swap out the spirit of ecstasy it is a 5 star car. Also the noises it makes are pretty loud, but it was easy to remove the battery to stop them.

Nice 1/32 scale model of Rolls Royce Wraith
This is a nicely detailed model of a Rolls Royce Wraith. The Wraith has not changed much in appearance over the last ten or so years, so I can't tell whether this is a 2013 or a 2021 model. There is the typical (for this scale) detail of only the top of the engine under the hood.A few things to watch out for: 1. Remember that the Rolls has suicide doors that are hinged in the rear. So you'll have to poke and gently prod the fronts of the doors to open them. 2. There is a small, easily lost clear package containing a clear plastic version of the Winged Victory hood ornament. The directions for mounting it under the hood are unclear. You'll need good fine tweezers. It appears to be a replacement for the existing hood ornament. This one apparently lights up. In the general manner of small parts, mine flew onto the floor before I could successfully mount it. 3. The chrome trim right above the rear license plate is not glued in place. I was lucky to spot mine on the floor. To prevent a recurrence, I dabbed a little UHU Por at the tip of a round toothpick into the holes for the trim, as well as the area between the holes where the trim could be stuck on. UHU Por is a contact cement whose application is easily controlled. When all is said and done, I have a nice model of an unusual, expensive car to add to my collection , [I took photos illustrating points 1 - 3. I hope to post them soon.]

Accurate depiction of a Rolls Royce
The die cast model is extremely detailed for its size. The paint lines are crisp, they even added the door handles! Additionally, the hood ornament retracts if you want it to just like real Rolls Royce's. The engine bay looks pretty good too. They did not detail the underside of the chassis as there is a speaker there and there are no exhaust pipes or mufflers. I do not see that as a negative at all. When you open the car doors or the hood you will hear a sound to alert you to press on the car and pull it back a bit then let it go. The engine will start the motor rev's and the car goes forward. You may want to make sure that the car has enough open space in front of it so that it does not crash. If you have purchased die cast cars in the past you can skip this...Be sure to have a small Philips head screwdriver as you will need to remove 4 small screws from the base in order to free the car. Also, there is a paper tab that needs to be removed so that the battery engages. Lastly look for two very thin rubber bands, the hold the wheels in place for shipment. Also, if your battery ever needs replacement there is a small screw on the front of the chassis to remove the battery and replace with a fresh one.Excellent die cast model at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

My very own Rolls Royce!
The media could not be loaded. Super cool 1/32 scale model. Took a bit to get it unpacked as I needed to find a thin Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the 4 screws holding to the base. Then removed all the rubber bands holding the hood and trunk closed. And then remove wrap that holds the doors closed. Pull the battery tab out and you’re set to play.Cool stuff- The doors open pretty easily when you pull on the review mirrors. They make the car make some neat sounds and the head lights and tail lights light up. Also there is a blue light under the hood ornament that makes the Chrome ornament have a glow around it AND if you want to change out the hood ornament to the clear/crystal one the glow is even brighter! The trunk opens easily. The pull back wind up motion works great. The hood ornament can be flipped down and even changed out to the crystal one that is stored under the hood. Not so cool stuff- I have no finger nails but even if i did I struggled to open the hood. I needed the small flat screwdriver to get in behind the hood ornament to get the hood up a little bit then i could pull it up. The tiny instruction for the change and storage of the hood ornament needs to be bigger and have some English translation to what they want you to do. I did NOT event try to take the chrome ornament out to see how the Crystal one would look with the blue glow light. I was afraid i would not be able to get it in or get the chrome one back in. I did show how it stores loosely under the hood like the picture one the instructions show. Over all this is a really well made sophisticated scale automobile with great features and high quality workmanship. I would like more just like this.

For when you really want a Rolls but can't actually afford one
This collectible model is a fantastic replica of the real thing. And, like a real Rolls, it is well made and a thing of beauty - just a whole lot smaller (and cheaper). I was actually quiet pleasantly surprised when it arrived as it is a fair bit bigger, I think, than the images seem to indicate - I was sure, if anything, it would be the other way around. But, it looks great. Made of quality materials for a small collectible item like this. And, I have zero complaints!

High quality construction
This is a really well made die cast car. It has lots of good functionality and detailing. I can't speak to it from the standpoint of a car expert or collector, just someone who bought a cool looking car for their kid, but from that standpoint, it's awesome. It's way sturdier and more durable than it looks - our kid took it in the bath with him and even left it outside in the rain and it hasn't gotten rusted or anything. It barely looks dirty. Many hours of fun were had playing with it so far and I know there will be many more!
