Amazing for the price
I have been collecting swords for a looong time- from the early days of the hobby in the late 90's. I have owned from a wide range of custom and production makers and price points so I feel I have some sense of knowing what I am taking about. This is clearly a copy of a Zombie Tools sword. I have owned a Zombie Tools sword or two. Is it as well made in terms of fit and finish? No. Is it as well made in terms of general construction quality? It appears to be. And it's around 85% less expensive. The sword is two steel or aluminum slabs ground to be the exact dimensions of the blade tang. The edges are camphered so it doesn't hurt your hands. The whole thing appears to be riveted to the tang and wrapped in thick leather or leather-like material which is pretty similar to what is on the ZT swords. The blade is definitely carbon steel of some sort and appears to be edge quenched to at least 57hrc by my testing. Zombie Tools swords are not indestructible, trust me. They are 5160 with a single temper to 55hrc. This sword arrived with a secondary bevel not dissimilar to what Zombie Tools swords ship with- a secondary bevel of around 23 degrees. This one isn't as well polished, it's lower grit finished, but it's sharp and even.ZT uses some sort of wax and ferric chloride process to achieve their finish. This appears to be what was left over from quenching, but it still looks decent. The sheath is some kind of leather or pleater and it's pretty well done, reasonably thick, and holds the blade very snugly. It is heavy but usable. No distal taper but ZT swords don't have much of that either. On the overall, it's is somewhat incredible that this apparently well made and completely functional sword is available for $69.

Amazing for the price!
For a sword under 80 dollars, and a knock off Zombie Tools sword (the Sharkalope), I will fully admit i wasn't expecting much. I figured it would be a neat looking sword at best, but nothing more than that.To my surprise, this sword is actually amazing. First, it's heavy. Center seems to be heavily rearward (below guard), but that is to be expected considering the handle is two shaped pieces of metal wrapped in leather bolted to the full tang blade. The metal is thick, and honestly the texture on the metal feels terrible, but I love the rusted look. The blade came sharp, and is overall a steal for the price. My only problem with this sword is the sheath itself. For something that looks old and rusty, having a nice leather sheath kind of ruins the esthetic a bit. Would have been cooler having some kind of kydex sheath, but it's honestly a small gripe. The sheath is nice and is a soft leather, and holds the sword in place quite well. It does what it needs to, and seems like it'll hold up well.Overall, I'd give this sword a 9.5/10. Since the review system goes by Stars, 5/5 is a good ranking for this sword. Now I need to get the rest, I want the entire set!

OMG
OMG, this is a real weapon. Other than the handle leather wrap it's a all steel piece. The hand guard and the handle are one-piece fused full tang so 3 layers of the same metal stack together making the handle and the guard. It is pretty heavy so using both hands to hold it is more comfortable than one hand only and guarantee that no one can stop a heavy thrust attaching with this sword. The rustic appearing of this one can be washed off with moderate polishing and coating, afterward it turns to a shining modern looking one. Definitely worth the money.

Bought a few different versions
To start off, the sheathes/scabbards all these come with are ok for storing, but are too flimsy and poorly designed to actually have a functional use. Kydex or a much thicker leather would be needed for that. This is the main reason for losing a star. The blades themselves are nice imo, i like the solid feel and bulkiness. They're on the heavy side so I could easily see some of the longer ones being too heavy for most folks. All of them have the same metal thickness, even the smallest dagger option. Apart from the dagger, the rest came pretty sharp, not razor but acceptable. The dagger was extremely dull and will need to be ground down to make it sharp because of how thick the blade is, you could tell they tried to sharpen the edge but the angle just cant work with the width of the blade.I love the rustic finishes and the wrapped handle seems fine to me.

TOP NOTCH! So happy I got this!
A seriously impressive blade. High value for the price. Quality full-tang design with great balance and heft.

awsome sword for the price.
this sword is very nice for what it is. the ballance is good, about 4 inches from the hilt. it's a bit heavy for my taste. the size is decent. it's what I'd expect a saber to be.the grip is surprisingly comforterable. I was not expecting to like it. I do wish they rounded out the metal under the wrapping though.it seems the finnish is rust resistant so far. I still greese it though. it's not pretty, but deffinately has personality.the durability has been decent. I've cut a little bit with it, and so far it's been ok
