We have 4 cats that are indoor/outdoor at will via cat door. So our furry friends can get quite dirty, burrs in their fur and so forth. And we have a neighbor cat that wants to be with us too. So believe me when I say we have experience with cats and cat products, WE HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH ALL LOG OF CAT PRODUCTS!.THIS HAS EVEN WON OVER MY LONGER HAIR KITTY THAT HATES GETTING GROOMED!!! SCORE!!!The avocado shaped grooming tool gently collects fur and the very, very fine mist keeps static from being a problem. This is the first brush/grooming product that Skampurr has "allowed" me to use without trying to bite me. That's saying a lot, he hate the Furminator, and many, many other brushes and comb products. He just calmly sits there and lets me groom, and groom, and groom. With Skampurr's longer fur, I have to peel off layers of fur often so that it doesn't block the gentle mist. He sits there peacefully for the whole process! Just don't turn off the mist, he doesn't like it without the mist. That is what sets this product apart from the other products we've tried, cool steam-like mist and gentle silicone brush tips that are wider but flexible and soft. He and all out cats enjoy it, and Biddy Boy the new community cat is eager to try it! So if you are considering this, BUY IT! IT IS THAT GOOD!! And for the price it is a steal! Initially, my cat was terrified of it. It makes a slight hissing noise, and she just bolted when I turned it on. But I kept trying to acclimate her to it, and then she likes it a lot now, as long as you don't spray her in the face with it.It's cute, and easy to fill, charges via micro-USB (a short cord is included).You have to get the hair off if they shed a lot, because it'll block the spray and just make a little water ball in the collected hair. But it's not terrible to do. It doesn't come off like in the ads though where it's like a little hair pad.Overall, it's pretty nice. The water removes static electricity, so her fur isn't sticking up all over the more I brush, and it also helps remove the dust from litter, and now that she's used to it, she really likes it.

Didn't work. Light turns on but no steam comes out.

Products does produce steam but did not help groom my cat. Scared her more than anything and did not lift the hair as well as I thought. Better off with a normal brush

My cats a scaredy cat. She loves it one day and the faint hissing sound the mister in the brush scares her the next.Pros: love the ergonomic shape, does not leak, USB-C rechargeable, picks up hair and dandruff easily, fun way to cuddle and play with my cat, mister can be turned on and off with a button, great for in between baths when you add leave in cat shampoo.Con: I have to reintroduce the mister for a while each time because it can be intimidating. Sometimes she’s interested, sometimes it’s a hard no. She can be trained, I think she might just take more interaction with the brush while off and on.Pros outweigh the con here.

It's just going to mist the top of your cat's hair. Didn't do anything for my medium haired cats.

My black cat is a shedder and hurls hairballs. She seems to enjoy this brush with the steam and I like that hair isn’t flying all over when I brush her. It was worth the cost and works well.
