I ordered the headrest for my wife who is confined to a transport chair. Because she is a tiny woman, we have a very narrow chair. About 16". My granddaughter (age 23) and I, both very mechanical and handy went to assemble the headrest. The directions are terrible and if you follow them, you'll never get this to work. So, my granddaughter had to think outside the box. After finding out that the directions were useless, we assembled the entire frame and headset and THEN attached it to the transport chair. It worked. One other important note is that there are 2 (two) black plugs in the bottom of the headrest frame. They must be removed prior to assembly, else the frame will not lock into its mating part. I suggest that the manufacturer rewrite their instructions.On the plus side, the entire unit is made with high quality aluminum and with fluting precisely machined. There are several aluminum welds that were expertly done either by man or machine. No burrs anyplace. Really manufactured well and very sturdy. Yes, I would buy it again.

Great product for a reasonable price. It definitely provides my Mom more comfort when she’s in her wheelchair.

Been working well so far. The headrest does have 2 wide, soft plastic spacers that go between the unit’s clamp and the wheelchair. Both of those spacers, one on each side, have broken apart over about 6 months. The unit still works ok for us, and I could probably make another spacer, but for others it may be an issue because the headrest can move forward if bumped and stay forward if not moved back. It may be tricky to move it back while seated in the chair, and the person is stuck with their head pushed forward.

When you're confined to a wheelchair and can't lie down, a headrest becomes essential. Unfortunately, this one has holes that don't line up, so the option is to jam it on and reinforce with duct tape, or hire someone to drill holes in the right places. Or return the thing and hope the next one was manufactured properly. Regret this purchase, will try to find a more reputable provider.

This fits great on my mother-in-law’s Drive brand wheelchair. It gives her support for her head and neck as she is elderly and needs assistance.

One of the best products I have bought for my Uncle w Alzheimer's. He always has his back looking at ceiling.. Which makes it hard to feed him as well. This product has made a WORLD OF DIFFERENCE for us. It has definitely helped the stiffness in his neck as well..

This product is not very well made. It is going to "work" for our purposes, so I am not returning it, but I am disappointed to have spent $69.99 on it.Assembly was very difficult because the threads of the screws were not made to fit together. I kept spinning the handles, and it just would not tighten. My husband was eventually able to turn it hard enough so that it will stay on the wheelchair, but it is not as secure as I would like. Definitely not worth the money that was spent.
