Nostalgic Fun With Anne Marie Starring Marlo Thomas
I remember watching this show with my mother as a child. It was cute and funny. Marlo Thomas stars as Anne Marie, an actress who is trying to make it big in New York. "That Girl" was one of the earlier shows to feature its star as a single career woman; it pre-dates "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" by a few years. "That Girl" ran from 1966 - 1971; MTM Show was from 1970 - 1977.Anne Marie was always a few steps ahead of her boyfriend Donald which made for some humorous situations. Equally funny were the types of acting jobs that Anne Marie did. If you enjoy nostalgic TV shows from the 60s or are a Marlo Thomas fan, you'll love this series. I don't believe it's shown on cable, though you might find it on a streaming service. But with this set, you can binge watch it with your friends or family. As a young pre-teen, my aunt used to envy Marlo Thomas' perfect flip hairstyle. She tried to set her hair the same way, but it never turned out like Marlo's. Then again, Marlo had hers styled by professionals but my aunt didn't know that at the time.

Pure Sixties
The theme song to "That Girl" is so nostalgic, with the accompanying superb footage of Marlo in NYC. She was so breathtakingly beautiful and this show was groundbreaking for single women on Television, and this was long before Mary Richards was told she had spunk. So happy they released the complete series on dvd, and this series sure deserves it. So hats off to all the great actors on this show; Marlo Thomas, and the late great Ted Bessell (sorely missed, but not forgotten) . So thanks a million!

An enjoyable trip down "memory lane".
I always enjoyed watching "That Girl" when it was on television during the 60's. Have often wished that I could have it on DVD so that I could watch it whenever I wanted, and now I do. Such a wholesome and entertaining series and a delightful way to spend part of the afternoon.
