With a length of 57 inches, it is unquestionably big enough to deal with coyotes and other large animals. I had some reservations about the amount of space it would take up, but I was pleasantly delighted to see that it could be collapsed. Because of this function, I am able to effortlessly fold it up and store it away in my shed when it is not being used. This has been a true lifesaver for me. Even for someone like myself who isn't typically very handy, setting up the trap was a simple and uncomplicated process. I had no trouble putting it together and getting it ready to travel since the directions were easy to understand. I was impressed by the solid structure; it seemed like it was well-made and long-lasting, which is something that is really necessary when working with bigger animals. I used some chicken leftovers as bait for the trap, and I placed it in an area where I had seen significant amounts of coyote activity on many occasions. I will freely confess that, at first, I was suspicious. In the past, I had attempted different things but were only partially successful, so I was not anticipating miracles.

I could trap a mountain lion in it way bigger than I thought, it is almost as tall as me, and of course it came in pieces and the directions are a joke. Well i watched the video and finally figured out the finalle. The directions are inefficient. There are no red rods and the way it shows the red rod going all the way from the front to the back and down connecting to the pedal is not so. I should have gotten the 50" live and learn.

It takes two people to set this trap. The back door bolts shut. Not easy to get in and out of just to place a bowl of food

It is a quality item however websites says big enough for a large dog, was trying to catch a straight boxer dog and it is not big enough.

Easy to assemble and great design. Our Haveaheart traps work fine as long as the raccoon is not on the larger side. This trap works on every animal because it is very large and the trigger plate can be adjusted to whatever weight you want.

Definitely one of the best valued large live traps I've seen, love the guilty style door but it is on the sharp side for how heavy it is which seems a little dangerous. The functionality isn't the greatest out the box but with a few tweaks it can be made to be dependable. Very easy to put together and use. Ended up catching my own dog (goldendoodle) and I caught my daughter and it turned her into a skunk...
