feels great and has weight. I've used it already for precision working happy with it... only issue is I discovered the edge wasn't even. brought it to a diamond sharpener and 1200 stone. a little elbow grease and now is perfect. wish it wasn't so stiff but after time im sure it will flex on demand

I bought the Wal-board knife from the local hardware store, I didn't read that it was high carbon steel not stainless steel and it rusted after the first use, and then would start rusting again (after sanding it off) within 30 minutes of being in my mud pan. Horrible experience, I enjoy my 12" taping knife by them because it is stainless steel. This knife is rated 6 out of 5 stars for packaging, the local hardware store knives needed goo-gone to remove the sticker residue from their knife before use. This knife is amazing and feels great in my hand plus it comes with that broken in feel, I will be looking for more things to redo around the house this knife is that good.

I've been dealing with joint compound and smoothing walls for years now, and this is THE BEST knife I've used. It is strong, just flexible enough to apply the right amount of pressure without causing wrist or hand strain, and it does not rust. The handle is strong yet very comfortable. Heck, even the sticker peeled off easily the first try. I will definitely be purchasing other tools from LEVEL5. If I could give this knife 10 stars I would!

I'm a professional drywall hanger and finisher and used to only use marshalltown and Hyde knives. I gave these knives a shot after seeing some positive reviews on Drywallers Worldwide and wasn't disappointed! They are well made, not to stiff yet not to flexible either, and the handle is comfortable. The handle is smaller and round as opposes to the bigger flat handles of the marshalltown knives which I've found dosent stress my hand and arm as much. My hands don't cramp up nearly at all when using these knives. They also were at my front door in two days not bad for free shipping! Thank you Level 5 for making quality and afford drywall tools!

I'm really picky when it comes to 4 inch knives and this one is as good as any that I have used. I've been finishing drywall for over 15 years so I can say with some authority that this is a high quality, well made knife. Level 5 gets my stamp of approval!UPDATE #1A year and a half later of daily use and this blade is still going strong!Update #2 June 10, 2021I'm still using this knife on a daily basis and it's still as good as the day I got it. Great product!

Seems very well made. Quality of metal seems good. Handle is very comfortable. Label peeled off easily without leaving a sticky residue. Worth paying a bit more to get this level of quality. Quality tools make a job so much easier.

Quality stainless steel. Excellent drywall tool that makes application so much easier.

Stainless steel but fairly stiff if that's what you are looking for, easy cleanup and shouldn't rust like regular steel ones but is not as flexible

I've been taping 19 years and this is the best knife I've ever held. I'm going to save my pennies and get the combo pack. Expensive but you get what you pay for

This knife has just the right amount of flex, and the manoeuvrability due to the size of this tool is excellent. Great quality too.
