I am a 68 year old widow who travels frequently.. This vest is very helpful. It fits true to size (and isn’t boxy). It has all the pockets (as advertised) and is a great travel addition. It is not uncomfortably heavy and it seems sturdy.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this vest. And used the size chart off of the brand's website to ensure I was picking the best size based on my measurements. Decided to purchase on Amazon versus the website in case I needed a different size because returning with Amazon is easier. The quality of this vest is incredible! I was surprised at the thickness of the material, so keep that in mind in case you're planning on wearing this in warmer weather. It definitely has some weight to it. There's so many pockets for organization, particularly love the back pocket and the designated phone pocket where you can still read the screen. The zippers move smoothly, very pleased with the color and the fit. This looks like a great addition for organization while traveling. Very excited to try this out, very pleased with the purchase.I'm 5' 5" and 135lbs Medium fits me well.

The Scott E Vest was recommended by friends and we were going to be doing a lot of traveling in Guatemala and didn't want to check luggage. This vest became part of traveling lighter. The PRO list includes LOTS...like it comes with a map for the pockets, and you'll still loose stuff in the pockets... LOTS of pockets. The help is going through security. Put your phone, passport, kindle, ipad and glasses in your vest and put it on the belt at airport security. That is pretty slick. The CONS list is be careful of what you wish for if you wish you had pockets, there's a lot of them. I also find the vest to be heavy. That many pockets, RFID liner, zippers give this vest some heft so adding in gadgets and gizmos makes it heavy. It was also pretty hot in a warm climate (Feb/March Guatemala City). There were days it was just too hot to use. It was great at the street festival where we didn't worry about pickpockets. Even I didn't know where my wallet was. I'm glad they sew the map into the vest. The two side pockets are big enough for a water bottle. That's nice for a lot of walking. Both my partner and I found ourselves give ourselves pat downs trying to locate the direction of the pocket in order to get out whatever it was you put in. It certainly added a lot of laughs to the trip. Our entire tour group enjoyed watching us lose and find our things.

I was so excited to receive my ScotteVest today. The colors are beautiful, it is well made, just not the size I ordered. I am having to return this one and re-order the correct size.Received the corrected size in the ScotteVest, love it fits perfect.Now the one I received did not have original tags or the map of pocket locations and suggested use.

Wonderfully functional and comfortable to wear vest. I feel like my trip is less stressful, knowing my passport, money, and other not easily replaceable belongings are safer, do to the inside pockets and the RFID protection from scanners in a crowded space.

The first time I washed it the entire zipper pull came off so that it can no longer be zipped. I tried putting it back on but I couldn’t. Even if I could there’s no guarantee it wouldn’t happen again. I only put it on once to test it out before committing to keeping it.The vest is heavy and even heavier once you start putting stuff in the pockets. And if you don’t zip it up, your neck feels like it’s bearing all of the weight. I should have saw that as a sign to return it. But I didn’t.My understanding is that while I purchased it from Amazon, ScotteVest is the seller but delivered through Amazon. I looked on ScotteVest’s website and it appears that their 2 year warranty only applies to products purchased on their website. Since I purchased it through Amazon’s platform it seems that I am out of luck???!!!This is a $200 vest, plus tax. I expected better.Edited to add that I ended up fixing it myself. I had to to take off the stopper on the end of the zipper closest to the neck, and feed the slider back onto the zipper. Unfortunately I had to cut the stopper out instead of prying it off because the original stopper was impossible to pry off. The videos on YouTube made it look easy but maybe this was part of ScotteVest’s construction to make it hard to fix it yourself. I put in a new stopper slightly below where I cut. I bought the stoppers on Amazon. Anyway it’s usable again. If I have any further issues I’ll end up taking it to a tailor to replace the zipper.

I got this vest for traveling thru the airport. It is wonderful, lots of pockets, comfortable and just the right weight. I don't get worn out wearing this vest. Plus I can carry multiple items in my pockets. I would highly recommend this vest.

I bought one vest, a featherweight one, but it was too small. I liked everything about it, though, but it did not come in a women's 3x and I was sizing up to carry my headphones, so I switched to this more expensive one. When I tried it on, unfortunately, the front zipper would not engage without a lot of jiggling, force, and aligning it. It would also get stuck at the very end when trying to take off the vest. For a $200 vest, having this defective zipper make it past quality control is sad. I noticed the zipper is not a known brand, like YKK. Since these vests rely heavily on zippers all over the place, making them with cheap, off-brand zippers is not such a great idea, especially with the premium prices charged. I like everything about the vests, but wish I could have bought the featherweight in the correct size as this one seems heavy. Also, the red color is more of a dark pink while the photo makes it look red.
