The RAM performed well in the old Windows laptop that I refurbished for my kids. The speed difference was noticeable from the 4GB I replaced. The memory works well.

This speed up my OLD Gateway (like 2009 brick laptop) to the original speed, so much more memory, and I can run a Zoom meeting AND Google Meets at the same time, while screen sharing both meetings and a presentation. I almost cried because i could finally be a part of all of my meetings on one device. Prior I had to use my old laptop, and chromebook, and phone - bow just one device! Install was super easy, directions clear, and I did not break my computer figuring it out!

The pair of non-branded RAM does perform well and is fully detected by my bios and operating system.However, when using CPU-Z both RAM sticks identify as being Samsung brand AND both show up with THE SAME serial number.I suspect this RAM is cloned in some way.Despite their suspect identity and serial number detected in CPU-Z the RAM sticks perform as expected and very well.Both passed a benchmark test and have really made an improvement for my laptop since installing them and cloning my HDD to a new SSD and installing that too.

My old Toshiba laptop (Satellite c855-s5214) only had 4 GIG of RAM. I recently had to replace the LCD screen and decided it would be a good time to do a bit of an update. I replaced the Hard Drive with an SSD model and used this RAM module to double the installed RAM to 8 GIG. The laptop booted up after the update and I now have a much quicker system. No issues with this RAM.

Item looked good for the price , though when it arrived I installed it in my laptop and went into the BIOS to see if it picked it up and it did not show.
