It lasts forever. It's got something that's kind of a waxy texture, but it sticks together like gum. It has very little flavor, and satisfies my enjoyment of chewing on something that's not too soft. If you enjoy chewing on things like chewy licorice, or carrots just for the sake of chewing, you'll love this gum. I wish I'd found it decades ago... I chewed on plastic pen caps and balls of aluminum foil as a kid because I like chewing so much... I hate to think of how much plastic and toxic metals entered my body from doing that. This is so much healthier as it's completely natural, non-toxic and supports digestive health.

After learning recently sugar alcohols uses in sugar free gum increase the chances of blood clotting I decided to look for alternatives and game across this.Formerly I was a pack of gum per day chewer. 1-2 pieces of Mastiha can last me all day.The gum has a slight taste of pine, which being an Oregon boy I don't mind. It is a little firmer than traditional gum which I like.Note, you do have to warm it up in your mouth for about 30 seconds before you can chew it, otherwise is shatters into tiny pieces.Overall I highly recommend this if your looking for an alternative to sugar free gum and love the sensation of chewing.

I personally do not like the taste and texture at all and couldnt force myself to continue chewing

This is not soft chewing gum. However it is made for a purpose. It is a decent flavor and lasts a long time.

O know how to deal with that but I wanted my normal natural tears - that is why I bout this product.When you have to cool it down to break the “plaster” it turned to you might make a mess and have a considerable amount of mastiha “dust” instead of only the tears.

This could be a five star gum, but I don't know enough about mastic gum to make that determination. What I can tell you, is that out of the 4 that I have tried this has been my favorite. The tears are large, and they seem to turn into a good chew most of the time. The other mastic's I've tried had smaller pieces that seemed harder to break into a nice chew. There is Flam mastic gum which gives the best chew, but has artificial coloring and the wrapper seems to have a suspect coating. There is also Jaw line chewing gum if you don't care about artificial ingredients an just want a good chew. This gum is my preferred pick, because it's natural and seems to chew well.

It is very tasty

I read the reviews I knew what I was getting into as far as taste. But ladies and gentlemen let me tell u the texture reminds me of when we were kids and had those wax lips, times 10. It's so hard I'm afraid for my fillings. I bought it for my stomach issues I'm still willing to try it, but geez it so hard . The package is smaller then u think.
