This is a soft leather bag that is well made but the one I purchased had a small pin hole on the front right hand side near the clasp. At $395, I had to return and repurchased so I will let update review once I receive replacement bag. The hole shown in the photo was from the factory from a stitch that missed it's mark. The bag should have been flagged during inspection. Poor quality control on Coaches part. Update on 10/5, I received a replacement bag and it was good condition with just a small blemish on the bottom. However, with the cream or off white color like I purchased, they will show any defect so very happy with the bag. Amazon customer service was great during the entire process.
