Nice size heating pad. Holds the heat for for about 45 minutes after heating for 90 seconds. Do not heat longer than 90 seconds or it smells similar to burnt popcorn. Adjustable velcro belt stretches and will allow you to wrap around back, hip, knee or shoulder. Good product, great price!

Really excellent. Well made. Moist heat is the key to deep reaching pain healing and treatment. This run is perfect to run it under water and microwave for 2 minutes. I wrap it in a light towel and put it on my back, neck, etc. As it cools, I remove the towel and put it directly on my skin. The towel protects clothing, furniture from getting damp.

It’s nice and warm and feels good after you microwave it, that works well. But what I don’t like is the belt that goes around your body to hold it on.. It’s quite wide and stiff, if you are short, (like I am,) when you sit down it cuts under your rib cage and is very uncomfortable.When you are wearing it, you need to either stand up or lay down, then it’s OK.

I cannot have about this enough. It is so comfortable and the design works perfectly for your neck. I did not notice any velcro on it, but it is not really needed. It has worked great for pain relief on my neck for driving long trips. It retains the heat for a sufficient amount of time.

It's wonderfully soft, but is synthetic which makes heating it even slowly an iffy (read dangerous) proposition. Unfortunately none of these are made with cotton covers like they used to be. I really hope it doesn't meltI bought this because it had good reviews, but I'm disappointed in it. It isn't large like it says on the product description. It's thin except in the bands where the stitching is horizontal. Those 2 bands and the neck bit are well filled, but the part that drapes the shoulders/upper back is almost empty.I heated it for the 90 seconds and it didn't get very warm. Over the top of my t-shirt it wasn't near warm enough. However, I put it under my shirt and that held it in place and helped the heat to penetrate. I've been wearing it now for 20 minutes and it is still warm.. Unfortunately, I think it will get soiled quicker having to wear it against my skin and there is very little warmth in the thinner parts of the drape where I really need it.Overall, I wouldn't buy it again, although the longer lasting heat is nice. If you've had the older kind of these microwaveable heating pads. It just doesn't live up those with their more durable fabric.

It's big. Moist heat is excellent. I'm very happy with this SECOND purchase. If you want to be happy with it also, do not heat it TOO long in the microwave. I did that with my first one and burned a hole in it. But it was totally my own fault for heating it too long. But I loved it so much, that is why I bought the second one. This time, I read the care and heating directions and will not overheat it. I really like the wrap around belt. It keeps the pad tight against my low back and allows me to twist and turn without readjusting. As an elderly person, I love the comfort this heating pad gives my old bones. And I love the peace of mind it gives me as it has no side effects and no electric wires to plug in. Oh, and I even use it to warm my feet on a cold night.

I give five stars for how it works but I changed it down to four stars because it has a smell to it and I'm hoping that smell will go away in time.
