It is something Mom used to make mochi rice for us kids! You don't use a lot, so it lasts a good while. Price is not bad, if you go to Japanese store, it's almost same price! It's good a sticky and sweet, and as long as you don't put too much water all at once, add it gradually as needed, and soak it awhile, you be successful! There are many recipe tips on Pinterest or YouTube!

This sweet sticky rice is so yummy. It is pricey for the size it is, but I don't use a lot of sticky rice so I prefer the smaller size. It can be used in savory dishes like homemade sushi or sweet dishes like mango sticky rice!

Very Sticky, Mild Rice: Perfect for Chopsticks
This short-grained sweet rice is a very good sticky rice. It has a mild flavor which allows it to be used in a variety of ways; the texture is firm and chewy. I cut the ingredients in the directions in half to make about three servings and served it with Japanese-style curry. The stovetop cooking instructions were easy and accurate. Sticky. Clumpy, tasty
I made this white rice in my instant pot. I used the ratio of rice to water as indicated on the package directions. I let the pressure come down naturally at the end. The rice turned out very sticky, wet, and clumpy. It didn’t stick to the pot but the rice stuck to each other. This type of rice is good for certain food creations where stickiness is needed. It was also good for my little grandson. I gave him small clumps with fruit on top and he was able to manage it better than traditional rice. I thought it tasted good and I ate it plain! I would get this again.

Tasty sticky rice
The rice is easy to prepare. I used the ratio rice to water from the package to cook the rice in my rice cooker. The cooked rice grains stick to each other. The rice itself tastes good without anything, but I prefer to eat it with some hot sauces. Overall, tasty and easy to prepare product.

Sticky rice
There are approximately 4 cups of dry rice in this bag. I prepared it in my instant pot on the rice setting and it turned out well. It is definitely short grain and sticky. Not so sweet that you can’t pair it with a savory meal but much stickier than the longer grain rice I’m used to. Good flavor.Plastic bag has a zipper seal for easy storage.

Good consistency and stickiness for a variety of Asian recipes
My wife likes to use this type of rice for a couple of her recipes. This is a good tasting rice and it cooked well in our rice cooker. It has a good sticky consistency. For some types of dishes, you can’t use just any rice, even if it’s a bit sticky like Calrose short grain rice. This glutinous rice has a unique type of sweet, chewy taste and texture.
