Great umbrella that can withstand strong winds! Visited Scotland and the rain and wind was no joke, this umbrella handled it all with no problems. The strength no doubt comes from the reinforced metal spokes which have a plastic sheath around them. Unlike most umbrellas you get from the shops, this one also has a lot more spokes (12 spokes if I counted correctly!) that gives it a lot more resistance to strong winds.When the sun came out, the black color I chose was useful in shielding us from the glare as well.It's a fairly solid umbrella so it's definitely not the lightest in weight but I think this weight is worth it if it means it's sturdier. The size will fit a backpack side pocket no problem once folded up. Once deployed, it covers quite a large surface area, definitely enough for 2 adults of average build, me and my partner fit under the umbrella without any issues.The button that ejects the umbrella works without any quips and is definitely convenient for one handed use.Considering it only set me back a tenner, I would highly recommend this over any high street umbrella, pay a little more for the guarantee that it will last longer.

Have used only a handful of times and it’s already broke - 2 of the spokes have simply snappped - shame as the umbrella looks great!

It's robust against the rain, thanks to its 12 ribs that make it incredibly wind-resistant. Despite its strength, it's compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry in a backpack.The automatic folding mechanism allows for single-hand use, making it convenient to put up and take down quickly. It does the job perfectly and has become my go-to for these wet summer days.

A good umbrella, pops out easily, but maybe because of the strength of that mechanism it is hard to slide it back manually, there is no automatic option and to slide it back you need to apply some excessive force.Other than that it's ok. Strong wind turns it inside out but does not break it.

Compact, light to carrie, but, at the same time, quite spacious. The stretchers are reinforced, making it wind resistant. I have used during a day of a heavy wind and I did not experience any issues. It also has an automatic opening and closure, which makes it comfortable and easy to use. I hope could last more than few months, so I'll keep updated.

Treated myself to this and I am very happy. Opens up at the press of a button but also folds up again if you press the button. Looks to be very decent size and quality and holds up well in the wind. Bit heavier than your cheaper umbrellas but to be expected given its construction. Certainly waterproof in the wind and rain we have had.
