Heating - Very relaxing heat that gives you a spa-like experience. It has 2 levels and can be toggled on / off.2. Compression - Squeezes your feet pleasantly like a person when giving you a foot massage.3. Vibration - This is a common feature in massagers; it does its job and complements the other functions well.4. Kneading /Shiatsu - This is my favorite in combination with #2. This has many functions for the price and it was very powerful, the kneading functions and compression (air) are very strong to the point that I couldn't use the top level. It is very rewarding my feet feel much better afterwards. However after one month of use the knead function stopped working all together, I tried trouble shooting, but nothing worked, so I had to return the item which really wasn't a hassle as it was still under warranty. Usually the Comfier brand is the one I go to because I have a few products from them and they are great so I'm disappointed with this irem
