Love this stuff. Really does pick up my mood and seems to curb appetite too!

I am pleased with this supplement.The serving size of this Saffron Extract is one capsule, TWICE A DAY (20-30 minutes before a meal), so the 90 capsule bottle ends up being a 45 day supply.I am very happy to see that this is a one-ingredient supplement, as that means I don't need to worry about overlap with other supplements I take. Each capsule has 88.5mg of Saffron Extract from the flowering body, but the extraction ratio is not given, so I'm not 100% sure what that is equivalent to. It is the same dosage as other saffron supplements I've tried, though.This is packed in a vegetable capsule with rice flour. It claims to be soy-free, gluten-free, nut-free, sugar-free, and non-GMO.This is said to be manufactured in the USA, it doesn't specify where on the label. It is distributed out of California by a vompany called "OptimalPrime", who includes their website URL and phone number on the label. Somehow, I feel a bit more confidence in a supplement when the distributor is reachable by phone, though that doesn't ensure quality. It is definitely not a fly-by-night company!The expiration date of the bottle I received is 05/2028 -a ways out!Saffron is something I used to get quite a bit of, naturally, in my diet when I lived abroad. In the USA, it isn't in many recipes I currently use. It has a plethora of "potential" health benefits, and it's something I am trying in supplement form to see if it actually seems to have notable benefits for me. This isn't a supplement one can take for a few days and have an immediate effect--the benefits are said to be cummulative, amd may take a few weeks to become apparent. Time will tell...

I hadn’t heard that saffron was good for mental health. I saw this product and decided to give it a shot. You get a three month supply and you only have to take one pill daily. I am a fan of supplements where you don’t have to take a handful of pills, so this is a win. So far I think I am feeling a positive change from taking this, but I plan to get another three months and really test it out. The quality is good and made in the USA.

I have been using these for a couple of months now, and it is really difficult to say if they have helped me at all. These months have been particularly difficult and stressful for me, so I really have no idea if this has helped, and things would have been worse if I hadn't taken these, or if these had no effect whatsoever. For me, that's the problem I find with most supplements. They sound awesome, but never seem to help me the way they claim so that I KNOW this is what helped me. I just can't keep buying them if I don't feel they have helped me at all.

Considering the cost of saffron as a spice, i do not believe these contain any saffron. Aside from the cost, the pills themselves have no scent or colour that resembles saffron. The only ingredients listed are saffron, vegetable capsule, and rice flour. This definitely seems like its just rice flour in capsules. You are better off spending the money on some actual pure saffron and using that daily in tea or added to your diet,
