Great picnic bench
Great bench. Arrived in 2 packs. Assembly instructions not the best. I made one mistake trying to fit the seats to the side support frames, but recovered from it. The braces are a bit tricky to do, but vital for stability and alignment. As assembled, it looks very good and is fit for purpose and very strong. It's a good weight and size.Happy with the product quality and look too.

3 years under rain, snow and sun
Great value table for the price. Takes some time to put together. Pretty good size for 4 people. Wood is really good, no complaints - colour and shape is the same after 2 years outside in coastal south of England with lots of salt, wind, sun and driving rain. No warping. No rusting from hardware.Very durable and looks good. Recommended.

Good quality picnic table
Easy to assemble. Instructions are easy to follow. Solid.Worth the money. Only small problem was it had a missing nut. Just found one in the shed in the end. They probably would have sent one out to me but couldn't be bothered with the hastle of it

Quality garden seating...and just in time for the World Cup!
My previous bench bought from B&Q was of a far inferior quality to this bench...not to mention it fell apart after a year or so. I almost bought a replacement from them but I'm really glad I didn't. This one looked more solid from the photos. Although it was double the price of the B&Q one (and others I've seen online) this bench is the bees knees. Arrived well packaged but not 'over' packaged...Amazon take note!! Was a little tricky to put together (even though it arrived partially built) but this was more down to my ineptitude at putting furniture together than anything else. Takes two people to do it and make sure you have a drill and electric screwdriver handy. The instructions were pretty easy to follow (just make sure you read them carefully beforehand) and it took me a morning...could have done it quicker but the sun was shining and I kept stopping for a cuppa. Just bare with it as it really doesn't feel solid until you get to the last stage putting the braces on. I also used the odd extra screw just to make sure. The finished article is great and is already well used. Looks good to last. Bought from Westmount Living and couldn't recommend them more.

High-quality, excellent value for money, pub-style garden bench
The bench was easy to assemble, and offers good value-for-money for anyone looking for a pub-style picnic bench for the garden! Easily sits four people, and can be put together in an afternoon. You will need only an electric drill. It is sitting very pretty in our garden at the moment, and will no doubt get plenty of use over the summer as a comfortable outdoor sitting space for eating, reading and entertaining! Delivery was simple to arrange, and comes in two easy-to-store, lightweight packs (about 1m x 1.5m x 2") that can to kept out of sight until you are ready to put up.

Good once up but assembly is very challenging
Sturdy and good size when up but only buy if you are happy to spend hours aligning where the pieces need to fit and drilling holes and arguing with the Mrs because of their shoddy workmanship. Good bench, good price but a nightmare to assemble.

Can assemble single-handed - do need drill
All parts complete. All the wood precision cut and front members drilled, but the 3mm drill needed to complete the joints. Worth using a strong G-clamp to position precisely before drilling. The battens are hardwood so not worth trying to screw into them without a pilot. The frame is softer but still recommend the drill. As I worked single-handed I found it best to assemble the seats on their supports first, but otherwise followed the order of instructions. Could have thrown it together in a couple of hours if just going outside in the garden, but it's for my living room (!) so took extra time to get all the joints absolutely square. Now built it is rock-solid. There are ragged edges on some of the timbers, and some rough surfaces, but this is after all supplied as a piece of garden furniture. Surform and sandpaper will sort. Why in my living room? - well I've had one central to my old Flat for the past 32 years and can't understand how people live without one - combined banqueting table and workbench. And no need to worry about wine or coffee stains as they just add to the character - an occasional rub with plenty of almond oil brings it back to respectability while preserving the rings of memory.
