Silk PLA Filament 1.75mm Gold 1KG, Metallic Shine High Gloss Finish Perfectly Wound, Accuracy +/-0.02mm 3D Printer Filament Vacuum Packaging

This review is for the TEQ Stone 15% Ebony wood PLA filament. See picture for comparison with OVV3D 30% wood oak and walnut. The Ebony is in the checkerboard table and a swatch is included. It is easy to print with recommended spec temps but it only has 15% wood. The smell is plastic with wood sawdust smell, not as pleasant as OVV3D 30% wood wondrous aroma. The spool is indeed flawlessly rolled as TEQ Stone guarantees which is more than I can say for OVV3D’s spools. TEQStone provides great results but without being able to say it has much wood in it. I prefer 30% wood.

The look and feel of this marble filament is absolutely unreal. The texture is tactile and makes the printed pieces feel great in the hand. Layer adhesion is excellent at all temperatures I tested (200-230c) but the finish varies pretty greatly by temperature. A lower temperature around 190-200c produces a matte, rock like finish. A higher temperature, above 210c produces a shiny, tile like finish. I prefer printing this at the lower temperature.The coiling and spool I received were less than perfect, but so far I have not had any tangles or clogs. I've used about 1/2 of the spool, I'll update this review later if any problems arise.Pieces pictured were printed at 205c, 80mm/s on my Ender 3 direct drive with a 0.4mm steel nozzle.

This was a bit difficult because it needed to be heated differently because of its wood fibers. Had a challenge but the results were worth it. The color of wood looks amazing. Gluing it using a glue gun was difficult. Needed to use a lot of each section to make sure it wouldn't break. Good news it it's durable. Dropped the pieces a few times, but none broke.

The media could not be loaded. I needed some gray filament to print some articulated Raccoons, and I found this product by TEQStone. This gray filament worked great in my Bambu AMS, and also on my Anycubic Kobra 2. The spool was wound nicely and ran through my AMS and hotend smoothly, no clogging. GREAT bed adhesion meant I did not need to use any kind of adhesive on my bed; I cannot guarantee the same for your setup, but a hot, slow first layer worked just as good as any glue I could've used. Would definitely recommend..Bonus - I picked up some transparent filament from this vendor as well... when I opened the package I was simply amazed. Every other "transparent" filament I have ever bought, was opaque in color even after days of drying... TEQStone's transparent filament was not the case. This stuff was a clear as glass and printed extremely well; while the final print was not as clear as the filament on the spool, the fact remains that the transparency that remained was far better than any other filament I have ever tried... it allowed my light box to let out the most amount of light from my LEDs than any other... I use a lot of transparent filament for light box projects, and I think TEQStone will be taking the place of all other transparent filaments on my shelf for the foreseeable future.

This is probably the coolest filament I have purchased. It has a glow of blue with slight greenish tint, I love it! It is a bit trickier to use than normal PLA, mostly because Glow-PLA can wear down brass nozzles, so I had to swap to a hardened steel nozzle. Also, be sure to reduce your print speed heavily! Those who are having issues probably did not do either of those things and it falls onto user error - learn your PLA :)So far, I am 10 hours into a Dragon Print, and it is working great; no issues, no stringing, no clogs and it already looks cool, glowing at night.I will post some pictures when it is finished but this is my favorite PLA now! I will definitely buy again!

TEQStone Silk Silver PLA. I have never had a bad experience with this brand of filament. Prints are perfect every time. The filament comes vacuum sealed and includes an extra ziplock bag for storage. It comes neatly wound with no tangles. Prints perfect, and sticks to bed great. This silver is shiny, like polished aluminum. I printed at a temperature of 215C and a bed temperature of 60C. It adhered to the bed perfect with no glue. The best part is the reel. TEQStone has the best reels I have seen. They are hard, smooth plastic. They roll great with no friction in my dryers. I highly recommend this brand to everyone.

Interesante filamento, se funde bien, el acabo de las piezas esta aceptable, para que brille lo debo cargar con la lámpara de escritorio y el efecto dura sólo lo rato (15 min) de hecho se carga mejor al sol y brilla más tiemoo (lo expuse al sol unas dos horas y el brillo lo tuvo en la noche como 1 hora, es decir no es brillo eterno) pero uno se entretiene y las piezas se ven bien.

Ich bin absolut begeistert vom TEQStone PLA Filament in Marmor Blau! Die steinähnliche Oberfläche verleiht meinen Drucken eine unglaublich hochwertige Optik. Die Maßgenauigkeit von +/- 0,03 mm sorgt für präzise Ergebnisse, und das Filament läuft ohne Probleme durch meinen 3D-Drucker. Auch bei längeren Drucksessions hatte ich keinerlei Verstopfungen oder Unregelmäßigkeiten. Die Vakuumverpackung stellt sicher, dass das Filament trocken und in perfektem Zustand bleibt. Insgesamt ein hervorragendes Produkt – ich werde definitiv wieder bestellen!
