Great for the price

The sour, lime taste elevates this from normal rim salt. The container isn't big enough to dip a large margarita glass into, but that's not a huge deal. Overall, salt is as described and is a nice touch to your homemade margaritas

So yeah, I got this salt specifically for making margaritas, and it is perfect. The round container is the right size and shape for the rim of a glass, and the salt is nice and chunky. Usually I run a wedge of lime around the rim of the glass before salting, but this salt actually has a lime bite to it, so you don’t necessarily have to use a lime to wet the rim. Water or an ice cube also works.I love that the salt has a hint of lime, because it gives versatility and makes for a flavorful finishing salt for other dishes. I’ve had great success using it as a finisher for potatoes, rice, and various salads (lentil, quinoa, potato). It really is a great tasting salt!

No salt dish, just chunky salt.

First thing I noticed is that the container is only 4 inches across. Not like the container in the photo, which is clearly large enough to dip a margarita glass. The salt is clumped fine salt, like someone took regular table salt and added a clumping agent. There is no lime flavor at all. It just tastes like salt. Tried to return it and, of course, I can't. I'm going back to Lava brand.

Makes nice drinks and taste great.
