The LC-100 Chlorinator is the by far the BEST on the market for a hot tub or smaller pool. I love this unit. I just bought 3 of them to try them and to have a several swap units for when I take them out to give them a good cleaning. For the features, ruggedness and low price price (200 dollar range) this is the best chlorinator out there. So a big thanks you to EcoPooluxe for designing this. Btw - I am not a Vine customer (never have been)... I had to buy these so you are getting a genuine review from a senior electronics engineer living in Maryland (USA) that has been waiting a looong time for a chlorinator like this. I am ordering 2 more of these btw to keep even more spares. You need to plumb it in so you need some minor skill there and you may need to tap your hot tub control board (or disconnect) for a 115VAC circuit - which is easy.-It is beefy, well made, with excellant thought going into the control and functions and ability to maintains this system. It has he best set of controls and best design I have seen on a chlorinator and I have owned 4 different vendor systems including the Saltron mini, Briidea, Controllomatic (hot tub variants) and the Pentair IC-40 (large pool variant). All of the hot tub chlorinators mention above last about 6-12 months and crap out (even with proper cleaning/maintenance). and they do not really have any controls to speak of using old 1980 LED number only or a blinking LED display. They are all in a box in the basement- It puts out 10g/hr chlorine production output.- The unit has bluetooth control through Apple or Android APP which is very easy to use or you can just use the control buttons on the front. I use the APP now-You can control the chlorine output as a percentage (nice) as percentage which is easy to understand.- You can control the electrolytic plate polarity switching time in hours (4, 8 or 12 hr selection). Polarity switching is essential to "self clean" the electrolytic plates that convert NaCl molecules to Chlorine gas. My larger "very expensive" PENTAIR Pool Chlorinator and the other hot tub chorinator models by other vendors do not have any features to control the system.-It has a built in Flow rate sensor to protect the unit (Bonus, Bonus points).-It detects low salt condition (this is a very nice feature)-It has a Salt calculation mode for how much to Salt to add it provides an estimate of the amount of slat in the water. (nice - very cool and well though out so we do not have to go find it on the internet or in the manual). Recommend you buy a salinity measurement devices on Amazon for $35 to get really good readings when adding salt-It has a temperature sensor that displays on the chlorinator and on your phone. Currently - it only displays degrees Celsius. If the manufacture is reading this, please give us an option to select degrees Fahrenheit. And please note that the temperature "sensed" in the chlorinator will be about 3 degrees higher than the actual hot tub water temperature because you are closer to the heater and water is several degrees hotter coming out of the heater before it gets mixed with a much larger body of water (this is normal).-The system operates on 24VDC (through a well made 115VAC waterproof transformer)-For packaging (see picts), I would give this company 10 stars for packaging. They use a rigid formed foam (not crappy Styrofoam) to house all components. you can the box out of an airplane and you will not damage the parts inside !-I have tried integrating my own Chlorinator and used a 36VDC power supply, switching relays, and manual controller because I was so frustrated with the current small pool and spa chlorinators on the market. I ripped that out and put EcoPooluxe LC-100 Chlorinator in my system and I thanks this company for solvign 10 years of headaches messing around inferior, cheaply made chlorinators.-They gave you a well written "rugged" manual that even includes mounting options and electrical considerations. And here is something very smart they did. The manual has its own "water proof" Plastic Pocket Folder to protect it in hot tub storage area outside or pool pump area. I have never seen PENTAIR do this on any of my manuals.-Overall, the best chlorinator for hot tubs or small pools I have ever seen (and the lower 200 buck price point is much appreciated so we can buy several to keep as spares during SWAP cleaning maintenance intervals) . Keep in mind, this unit has to be plumped into your pool or hot tub. They give you 1 1/2 in standard quick disconnect fitting with PVC glue joint male slip type and they give you an O ring step down fitting to accommodate a lot of these above ground pools. You can also convert to a barb fitting and clamp it down with polyethylene hoses for hot tubs (that is what I did) and added PVC shut off valves on either side so I can swap it out with y other spares

Easy installation. Makes chlorine continuously as long as salt levels are correct. When it needs replacement I will definitely buy again. Great solution and value.

So frustrating and time wasting. the listing clearly shows a diameter of the pipe as 1.98" to fit into a 2" PCV. But this is not. Wasted so much time trying to figure out why this doesn't fit.

Works great! It's only been a month but so far it's doing it's job perfectly!! Easy to install and app works, too. Tye app you need is called Smart Chlorinator and available on Google Play and Apple App store. It isn't listed on the manual or here, so hopefully, I will help someone else. In summary, the product works as described!!

Installed last week and works really good, keeps pool chemistry right where it should be. Heads up the temperature display in in C not F.
