It works very well
The Humminguru does a good job of getting those hard to clean records sounding better. I had already cleaned my collection using a vinyl styl deep groove and vinyl vac, which does a great job overall, but did not get all of the lodged material in the grooves of the old records. 1 or 2 runs through the Humminguru gets much of those particles out. Of course it will not take out the pops caused from scuffs and scratches, but I have a 60x pocket microscope I can view the grooves with and I do say it removes a lot of the lodged particles present before the cleaning. I run any new record I buy through the Humminguru to remove debris from the factory as well as paper particles from the sleeves.The machine is not terribly loud, at least to me, however, it's possible the high pitched sound might be uncomfortable to some. I also bought the small bottle solution as well. That, along with warming the distilled water slightly (in a separate container) provides much better results. I would not recommend storing the used solution in the reservoir for any long period of time because mine developed small cracks. The manufacturer was quick to replace my reservoir, so outstanding customer service as well! Lesson learned though, assuming that was why it happened. I am not sure if others have had that same issue. I store the used solution in another container until the next use. Just read the manual carefully and follow all of their instructions, that went a long way in understanding how to operate the machine. I feel it was worth the money spent for the results.

Quality filters
Reasonable price. Nice to have extra filters especially if you have a large collection of records that need to be cleaned. Would recommend.
