Simple and affordable
The lamp puts out the right amount of brightness for my home office. The lamp is sturdy as I do not extend the arms out and just leave the arms close to each other to light a section of the desk. I do not mess around with all the different color settings (left it at white light) and I kept the brightness at one level below max. brightness. The one additional USB port to charge gadgets seems sketch, like it might blow the lamp fuse (read the other reviews about it) so I never used it. One design improvement is replacing the finicky brightness level slider to 2 simple, no frills, buttons: "up" and "down". Overall, I recommend the lamp for the amount of light it puts out at this price point. In addition, it saves me electricity costs since I no longer keep the room ceiling light on when I use the desk.

Awesome light for a desk. Three modes and even just a small light up on the side if you want to see where something is. Worth getting. Bought this for my wife and have no complaints from her…mission accomplished.

Do not expect this to work more than a couple of months!!!
Worked nicely for 2-3 months...Then, just like the one sold under another name, the on/off button stopped being responsive. Therefore, one has to unplug it to turn off. AND, the adjustable brightness part does not work either now. My 2nd attempt at enjoying this purchase, to a bad end.
