Steve Madden Designer Luggage - Checked Large 28 Inch Softside Suitcase - Expandable for Extra Packing Capacity - Lightweight Bag with Rolling Spinner Wheels (Peek-A-Boo Grey)

My husband and I took this 28" suitcase, as well as the 24" version, on a week-long cruise, and we were very pleased with them both. Not only were they the most attractive pieces of luggage of the many we viewed while both boarding and disembarking, they performed like a dream. The "Shadow" fabric pattern is very classy, yet stands out, as it has a pattern and sheen reminiscent of a reptile. There are also little touches, such as the large zipper pulls, and leather (Genuine?) tassel and corner patches, that add to the visual appeal. There are handles on the top, bottom, and side, which make it easy to pick up and move. The zippers glide easily, as do the multi-directional wheels. The suitcases were so easy to maneuver in tighter spots that would have been such a hassle to negotiate otherwise. The telescopic handle works well, and seems to be sturdy enough. The suitcases have lots of pocket space, both inside and out, and expand to fit more inside contents. The inside holding capacity is also ample, as I estimate the 24" held about 35 pounds, give or take, and the 28" easily held at least 50-60 - both including a few bottles of alcohol we brought back - (and we'd weighed the 28" at about a little under 50 lbs before the trip to not surpass weigh limits). The suitcases themselves are light-weight, and the 24" suitcase fits neatly inside the 28" suitcase. In closing, I would highly recommend these suitcases, as they are 'the whole package.'

Love the look and feel of this luggage. In hind sight I probably should have gotten the smaller piece. This one offers so much capacity to pack it all in that I about went over the weight limit with the airline. The airline may had beat it up a lot, but it only lost the cute tassel.

Built well and very attractive. Highly recommend.

I really like this large bag because it has swivel wheels which I never experienced before. I'm a senior and travel alone several times a year so the easy glide of this bag is a blessing. The bag is expandable and has numerous pockets which I also appreciate. The only thing that I am disappointed about is that the fabric soiled easily. If I had chosen a dark color instead of the blue teal that might not even be an issue. Oh yes, forgot to mention the tassel. I love tassels and was sure to remove it before checking the bag at the airport.

What a classy piece of luggage. We got the largest one and it's huge. Lots of extra pockets and some heavy duty zippers.

I was looking for new luggage for my upcoming trip to Europe since my current luggage is a bit worn so I didn’t think it could survive 7 different planes. I came across this piece, and it was perfect! I love teal, so was drawn to the color, and I also am an old soul, so the brown details appealed to me as well. When it arrived, I was even more impressed with it, the photos do not do it justice. It’s beautiful, and the size is perfect and should be able to hold all of my stuff for my adventures abroad!

One look at this Beautiful suitcase — teal with fringes — and great outside pockets too, and I was sold. The 360 rotating wheels and pull out handle were a must. That crucial pullout handle BROKE on its first flight, which turned my travels through Central Europe and the Balkans like an EXTREMELY PAINFUL CHORE . The seams also were loosening. The wheels would get stuck / lock, causing me to fall on concrete and cobblestones on a few occasions, and doing stairs — a nightmare — painful and impossible for me. I INVESTED a lot of money in a beautiful suitcase of poor functiong quality that failed me terribly . I messaged the seller weeks ago; they never answered. Is this typical of a Steve Madden product — aesthetically pleasing, but poor in performance, or did I get a lemon? This was Definitely a no value for the money purchase. I'll give it 1 star, cuz it was beautiful, unfortunately useLESS. To worsen matters, no one ever got back to me to rectify this issue.

I love this suitcase. I had to replace my old suitcase while on a vacation because it came down the baggage carrousel a bit worse for the ware. I chose this suitcase because of good ratings, the color and good price. It glides around quite nicely on its wheels too.
