SB Fitness CT550 Self Generated Curved Treadmill with LCD Display, Water Bottle Holder, for Home or Light Commercial Use

We discovered variable resistance curved treadmills after using one in a high end fitness club. After a long search and trying other models we purchased the CT550 which most closely matched the feel and ease of use of the gym model but at a more attainable price for our home.Important to us, this model provides the feel of an outdoor workout and on variable inclines. Slight flex in the belt has lower impact on our joints, which my husband finds important. Love the ability to change resistance with handle. The size of the walking/running surface feels open and we can comfortably take long strides. The model is reasonably quiet which allows us to listen to music or watch a movie.Note the weight. We can move it in the house by using the front wheels but need help for up/down stairs.Found an assembly video on YouTube that was helpful for cable installation.

We bought this treadmill directly from the manufacturer as they offered a seasonal sale after having used a commercial product at a gym some time ago. I was shocked at how quickly they shipped it. It arrived literally within a few days via FedEx Freight.The box was quite large and strapped to a pallet. Not that this is a criticism, but I opted to open the box thinking that I could lighten the weight so I can get it in the house. Unfortunately, the box fell apart. So if you have challenges with your property it might be better to keep the box intact for as long as possible.Plan B ended up with me and a friend carrying the base into my house. That was super easy. The base is not as heavy as you think. But without getting into details, getting into the basement which is where I wanted to setup my home gym, was a little trick. Hunks for Hire quickly solved that problem. To burly guys got it down there in less than 5 minutes.The setup and assembly was super easy.Running on it? Fantastic. I'm mid-aged and out of shape but doing the Couch to 5K, was a perfect way to acclimate to this treadmill without hurting myself. A great way to get in shape and start the day.SummaryWell built, great price, and easy setup.Great to run, walk, jog burning calories and generally getting your day started out on a positive.PS.. being former runner/triathlete, there is a $100 gadget to get speed and cadence to your fitness devices. So if the base console doesn't satisfy, there are after market options.
