Q: I’m curious on how to pack this hat in a suitcase?

I returned the hat due to its unexpected weight, but I’d suggest packing it in a suitcase by filling it with rolled clothing (socks, etc.) and packing clothing around it to protect it. I wouldn’t consider it a “packable” hat in that you would not want to crush it or compact it. It even arrived in a box ready to wear rather than folded or rolled as the item title suggests it can be and unlike other foldable hats I ordered.

No, 2 inches all around. I add a cute pin pin on to lift the brim, and love it.
