Li-SOCl2 is a really remarkable battery chemistry that has an absolutely incredible energy density. It's only suitable for very low draw devices, though, like memory backups. So while everything appears to be fine with these cells, it's going to take literally years to give them a proper test. The application I've got in mind should last at least 20 years with one of these.
