Great to have
Review for: MediTac Premium IFAK Trauma First Aid Kit - Military Combat Tactical Molle - Active Shooter Kit with SOF Tourniquet, QuikClot, Vented Chest Seal, Israeli Bandage, Emergency Bleeding Control - BlackThis is a pretty intense kit that I hope to never have to use. That being said it is well stocked, well packed, and has a construction that seems built to last. I like that it can be clipped to other bags or maybe to a more basic first aid kit. A lot fits into this kit, and I am so thankful to have it onhand incase I need it. If you are looking for a basic first aid kit this is not it. But if you want some higher skill products - this is it. Be ready to go through it and make sure you know how to use everything if you need it.

Emergency Bleeding Control
Let's delve into the MediTac Premium IFAK Trauma First Aid Kit, or as I like to call it, the "Emergency-only Zone" kit. Truth be told, I hope I never have to put it to use.Inside this compact wonder, you'll find a plethora of essentials for handling serious bleeding situations. From SOF Tourniquet to QuikClot, it's got all the heavy-hitters. But here's the catch - while the kit comes with basic instructions, it's probably a good idea to familiarize yourself with the contents beforehand. Trust me, you don't want to be figuring it out in the heat of the moment. In terms of quality, it's top-notch. The non-expirable, non-sterile items are built to last. And the rest? Well, let's just say they're not skimping on excellence. But, and here's the kicker, folks - that QuikClot? It's got an expiration date, and it's playing hardball. Expires in June 2025, just 14 months after purchase (typical shelflife is 5 years). So, if you're planning on having some epic adventures in the next year or so, keep that in mind. And speaking of keeping things in mind, I tried hunting down a refill kit for the stuff that expires, but came up empty-handed. Maybe it's a DIY challenge for the survival enthusiasts out there? And let's talk numbers. Priced individually on the manufacturer's website, you're looking at a total of at least $140. But fear not, you can snag this kit for $129.In conclusion, the MediTac Premium IFAK Trauma First Aid Kit is like insurance for your worst nightmares. Here's hoping it collects dust on your shelf, but if the day ever comes, you'll be grateful you have it.

High Quality, Sterile Trauma Kit in Portable Canvas Bag
I'm reviewing MediTac Premium IFAK Trauma First Aid Kit, Black. The components of this kit are high quality and packaged to stay sterile until needed. (I hope we never need this, but so thankful to have it on hand.) The black canvas zipped bag has pockets to keep everything organized. There are a couple larger items that sit in the center of the bag without being in pockets. The items in this kit are for trauma (see photo), not first aid. A full product list can be found in the description and is accurate.I found the dimensions of 9.1 x 6.7 x 4.4 inches for the bag to be accurate. It weighs 1 lb 13 oz. The bag has snapped straps, but I didn't find the snaps to be particularly strong. There are plenty of other straps stitched into the bag, and if I was hiking with this, I'd hook onto one of these stitched in straps. While this isn't a normal first aid kit, there's room in the bag to add some of those regular first aid essentials if desired. While some of the items in this kit don't have an expiration date, others do with dates ranging from 06/30/2025 to 10/2028.As a side note, some components in this MediTac IFAK Trauma First Aid Kit are made in the USA, while others are made in China.

I hope I never need to use it, but I’ll be glad to have it if I do
I’m a teacher, so I have very mixed feelings about ordering an active shooter first aid kit to keep in my classroom. More than anything, I hope I never have to use it, but if the unthinkable happens, at least I’ll be prepared. This kit has a lot of high quality first aid essentials for scary injuries, like broken bones, and profuse bleeding. This doesn’t have your basic bandaids and antibacterial spray- it’s something that you keep separate from your everyday first aid kit, that you don’t open unless you really need it. There are some instructions, but they’re limited, so it might be good to familiarize yourself with all of the materials included in this kit when you first get it so that you won’t freeze and not know what to do if there’s an emergency. Everything is contained in a handy carrying case that is about the size of a lunchbox. It’s easy to stash this is a drawer or cabinet in your classroom for emergencies. I suppose this could also be kept in a car trunk since many of the items could be useful in a car crash if you’re far away from emergency service. There are also some tethers with snaps that you can use to attach it to something for safekeeping. The kit says on the outside that it has an expiration date of June 2025, which I think isn’t that long since the kind of emergencies this is used for don’t exactly happen that often. When I opened the case, I found that the quick clot expires in 2025, but everything else expires in 2028, 2029, or not at all. That’s a relief, since this is an expensive kit, and I wouldn’t want to have to replace most of it within less than two years. This kit has a lot of really useful items that can be critical to have in an emergency. Most items have a long shelf life, but be mindful that you might have to replace some items as they expire. The instructions are decent, but arming yourself in advance with as much knowledge ad you can about first aid is preferable to relying on the included instructions. Overall, this is a good kit for maximum preparedness for the unthinkable.

Great kit that you hope to never need!
This first aid kit is packed with some serious trauma items as well as basic first aid needs. The quality seems great and I’m happy to be able to have this on hand though I hope to never need it.
