Rather expensive food supplement
This is a nutritional supplement containing Hyaluronic Acid & Liquid Collagen – both supposed to help to improve skin elasticity, hydration, radiance, and firmness, and reduce wrinkles. It also contains Sea Buckthorn (which the box says “helps maintain a healthy skin from within”), and Lutein (there is no product information on the benefits of this). It comes in individual 25 ml sachets, and it is recommended that you drink it straight from the sachet. The sachets look like they are intended to be torn open, but they are not. I tried this and made a mess, because it only tore part way and orange liquid started to leak out. You need to use scissors to cut the top off. Unlike other marine collagen liquids I have tried, this one does NOT taste fishy. The product says it has a “delicious fresh citrus flavour”. I wouldn’t go as far as saying it’s delicious, but it is not unpleasant. It tastes slightly medicinal (reminds me of cough syrup). It does however contain artificial sweeteners (maltitol, and steviol glycosides) which is not mentioned in the Amazon product description. The pack contains 15 sachets, so at the current price of £33.95, to take a daily will cost you nearly £68 a month. There is no recommendation on the product for how long you should continue taking this.

Convenient to take
These were nice to take when I was rushing outside my house to work and didn't have time to take my supplements, you can just take this shot straight from the packet then dispose of the packaging.

Be careful it doesn't stain. Very strong aftertaste of artificial sweetener
I like to take hyaluronic acid and collagen to help my joints, connective tissues, and skin so this seemed like a good option, especially as it also contains sea buckthorn oil and lutein. They come in individual-dose sachets with a tear-open top, and I did struggle to open the first one, even gripping it at the "neck" firmly - I tore first from one side, then turned it round & tore from the other. I was shocked to see that the liquid was a fluorescent orange colour (well OK, that's the sea buckthorn I guess) that stained my thumb ! The taste on taking was a fresh citrus - not anything specific. But immediately after, there was a VERY strong taste of artificial sweetener that did linger. The contents are also very liquid but have a very slight oily feel. I've since had 4 more daily doses and now cut the top off with scissors whilst holding over the sink, and make sure I take it just before drinking my (strong black) morning coffee. I can't comment on the health benefits yet other than 14 days-worth isn't very long for any supplement to take effect, but it may be the boost you need to set you off. Also the cost (at the time of reviewing) was around £2 a day, so do compare the convenience, dose and price to see if it's suitable for you.

A SHOT TOO FAR..
I am always open minded about supplements that claim beauty benefits. Like all supplements, it is almost impossible to gauge their effectiveness. However, I was intrigued by this Nordic Hyaluronic Acid shot which aims to boost healthy skin from within. It contains Collagen, which has various benefits including skin elasticity. This is complemented by something called Sea Buckthorn which is meant to provide skin health from within. Hyaluronic Acid is found naturally in our body but decreases with age. Thus, the idea that this, along with collagen and sea Buckthorn taken as a supplement will slow the aging process and give the user beautiful skin. All well and good. Where this supplement is different is that it is in the form of a liquid (contained in sachets) which you consume orally straight from the sachet.I have taken this for 2 days now, and have to say I did not find it a particularly pleasant experience. The liquid has a sickly, over-sweet taste (it contains sweetener) and is quite thick in texture. The actual process seems a little primitive too, as you have to squeeze this liquid into the mouth from the sachet. As stated above, I cannot comment on the effects in such a short time, but I do think this is a shot too far in trying to achieve skin health. There must be simpler and more convenient ways to get healthy skin !The box contains 15 sachets, so only 2 weeks worth here, which makes it expensive if continuing the supplement.

Tasty
The New Nordic Hyaluronic Shot is an excellent, tasty supplement for anyone wishing to improve their skin's suppleness and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Each sachet is ready to drink and has a delicious citrus flavour, making it simple to incorporate into your daily routine. The combination of hyaluronic acid and marine collagen promotes hydration and skin health, leaving my skin plump and revitalised. With 15 sachets per pack, it's a convenient choice for on-the-go beauty treatment but it is not enough to see any significant results as you need to take collagen much longer and it can be a bit pricey.

Tastes absolutely vile. Also very expensive.
These "daily shots" of Hyaluronic Acid with Marine collagen are absolutely awful, they taste like Fish Sauce mixed with the most chemical and unnatural "citrus" flavour imaginable. After drinking the first one and staggering round my kitchen looking for something to get the taste out of my mouth, I thought maybe it had gone off or there was some kind of flavouring issue so I made the most regrettable decision to try another one and then scared my cat with the noises of disgust I made.I resorted to actually eating coffee because nothing else would remove the taste of dead fish from my mouth. Believe me, it lingers.Considering the cost of these and that you'd need to take them on a daily basis for months to see a result, there's no way I can (or want) to recommend them because they're incredibly expensive and they're absolutely revolting. You'd be far better off taking a capsule supplement.
