I love the idea of these Lego dioramas as most of my Lego is for display anyway. The Anakin Skywalker’s Podracer set has the infamous podracer along with a section of the desert tunnel the racers go through which provides a backdrop.The build was quicker than I expected for a large model but still took some time. It’s certainly not for younger hands as it’s a complex build but the instructions are excellent and help a lot.The only thing that would improve this is if Lego started to do Perspex boxes included with their sets for display like some of the other brick building sets do.

Just recently got my hands on the LEGO Star Wars Podrace Diorama Set and I have to say, it's a real winner. The attention to detail in this set is simply unbelievable, from the intricately designed Podracers to the rugged terrain of Tatooine, every component captures the essence of the iconic Podrace scene from The Phantom Menace. With 1,187 pieces, it took me a good few hours to build, but the end result was well worth it.The inclusion of a LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary brick and a plaque with a quote from Qui-Gon Jinn is so cool.It added a nice touch of nostalgia for fans of the film and the LEGO Star Wars series as a whole. The set also offers a fun and immersive building experience, perfect for both adults and kids alike. The pictorial instructions made it easy to follow along, and the end result really captures the excitement of the Podrace scene from the film.

These Lego kits are great - the attention to detail that the designers try and incorporated into these themed kits is unbelievable!The packaging is the standard high quality black box which contains everything organised in bags inside along with the instructions.The step-by-step instructions are easy enough to follow. The kit has 718 pieces so does not take too long to build. The kit is advertised “for Adults,” I guess that is more because once built you will place it on display rather than play with it.It is something to marvel at when you have finished building.Great kit that was satisfying to build and even more satisfying to look at once finished.

2024 happens to be the 25th Anniversary of the Prequel Star Wars film "The Phantom Menace", the start of the prequel trilogy which had so many iconic moments and no more so than the now famous Podrace which sees a young Anakin using his Force sensitive instincts to win a much important podrace to win a part very much needed to fix the heroes star ship. This LEGO diorama set beautifully recreates that race with a cinematic scene which sees child Anakan battling for first place.This was a really fun set to build, very straightforward thanks to the easy to follow pictorial instructions, the booklet that comes with the set has some amazing facts and insight into the film and this scene, helping to really elevate the experience of building this set. The model really looks as though the podracers are in motion with a very clever chase scene recreated so cleverly that from any angle you can see and feel the excitement this scene from the film has. The only real disappointment is that it lacks any mini figures to serve as the pilots which would have been amazing, however the way the set still recreates each podracer still delivers exactly what a Star Wars fan will recognise and appreciate from the scene.This is easily one of my favourite sets from the LEGO Star Wars range, well price and great fun to build and then display, a perfect gift for any Star Wars fan.

I have to say the actual build looks better than the ads, I think its that they are trying to get more scale which makes them look under built as such - though when you've built it that seems no longer to be an issue as it looks great.Price wise per brick on the lower side of some of the collectable range at just over 10p.Son grabbed it when it came through the door as he loves Star Wars and lego and luckily he's the right age group, though not sure why a younger teenager wouldn't be able to build its not a hard build its just its not a toyAlso for those worried there is not a hint of Jar Jar in thisGreat for any Star Wars fan

Für ein Star Wars Fan und ein Lego Fan ist es ein must have. Diese Setserie ist sehr schön und es macht einen feinen Eindruck im Regal. Die Steine haben eine hohe Qualität die Farbe passt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem kleinen Set. Einzig der Preis ist ein bisschen happig, aber das war bei Lego ja schon immer der Fall darum gebe ich diesem Set fünf Sterne.

Ce Lego est très amusant et joli à assembler 🙂Il y a de nombreuses pièces car il cible un public plus âgé / habitué aux Lego mais il faut bien avouer aussi qu'on est nombreux à être de grands enfants 🤣Comme d'habitude les instructions de montage sont fournies sur les notices et l'application 🙂Bref de quoi s'amuser pendant un bon moment et une bonne idée cadeau à tout fan de Star Wars 👍

Es un diorama de la carrera de vainas hecha con piezas lego, es una pieza de colección.Las piezas vienen dividas en distintas bolsas dentro la caja de cartón que por fuera nos muestra lo que nos vamos a encontrar dentro.Las vainas parecen estar flotando en el aire y es que solo tienen un pequeño punto de anclaje a la base para que de esa sensación.Me hubiese gustado un poco mas de detalle en las vainas pero en general estoy muy satisfecho, los productos de lego no defraudan.

Da appassionato LEGO e soprattutto da fan della saga STAR WARS non posso essere indifferente a questo set, e quando mi è stata data la possibilità di provarlo non ho esitato.Ci troviamo di fronte ad un set contenente circa 718 pezzi, pronti per essere assemblati e formare il Diorama “gara degli sgusci su Mos Epa”, questo il nome che ha dato LEGO al suo set 75380. Il set ripercorre l’azione della gara dell’avventura Star Wars: La Minaccia Fantasma, film del 1999. E’ ovviamente tutto dettagliato in perfetto stile LEGO, partendo dai due sgusci di Anakin Skywalker e del suo rivale Sebulba, fino alla meravigliosa cornice di sfondo che è rappresentata dall’Arch Canyon. Incluso troveremo anche un mattoncino da collezione per il 25° anniversario della serie LEGO Star Wars ed una targa con la citazione di Qui-Gon Jinn.Istruzioni dettagliatissime come solo LEGO sa fare, ci guideranno passo dopo passo, volendo anche in formato digitale. Una volta montato il Diorama sarà grande 30x12x14 cm, un ottimo pezzo sia per i bambini che potranno ripercorrere le avventure simulando la gara, ma soprattutto per gli appassionati e collezionisti che potranno esporre questo piccolo capolavoro magari dentro una teca ben protetta.

Enjoyed making the model, but even these "special scenes" needs a little extra, like a couple of minifigs (see photo) - (which is what Lego is all about) added these two from set 75383, Young Anakin and Qui-Gon Jinn, also tossed a few "spare parts" on the surface to imitate debris from crashed vehicles!!!
