my toddler loves helping where possible with cooking and the crinkle cutter came down a bit quick and his impatience to pick up the piece of potato meant his finger got caught at a fairly decent speed/amount of pressure. he had a tiny mark and did shed some tears but the product is true to its word and is safe!had it been a proper knife, my son would have easily lost a finger! definitely recommend if your little one is keen to assist in the kitchen
