Coming from 15 years of tennis, I was skeptical that something could "change the game." Transitioning to pickleball, grip changes happen much faster at the kitchen, so any advantage helps. This grip allows me to find those notches quicker as I anticipate the next ball, especially during hand battles. It's an added bonus that it feels very comfortable and absorbs a little shock.The downside is that the ridges stick out more, which gets my overgrip dirtier, faster. I don't mind the aesthetic dirtiness since I use the tourna megatac XL and it's super grippy, even through 6-8 sessions of sweat and dirt.I use a 2-handed backhand with a 5.5" handle so the 6-inch elongated grip was essential for getting as much retail space on the handle as I could. I also use the full-sized tennis overgrip to wrap all the way to the throat, getting just over 6" of handle length.

Unfortunately, after 2 separate applications the top of the grip has begun to rip. I tried being careful when using the plastic tabs but that didn’t seem to work. So ig the grip will stay on this paddle of fear of completely ripping it. Disappointing quality.Other than that the grip has felt comfortable during play.

I reluctantly started using Hesacore grips in hopes that the shock absorption would help with my sensitive elbow. I ultimately changed paddles and that made the most difference. The grip itself however is quite nice but can be a pain getting on the first time. Once wrapped with an over grip, I really enjoyed the different grooves that helped me position the paddle quickly. It does add a bit of weight to the handle compared to a replacement grip, but for a little shock absorption and control, I think the trade off is worth it. The elongated version works great on my paddles with grips 5.5" and above.

Simple to install. Ripped right as I was almost done getting it to the top. Then noticed it had some small pin holes around it. The thickness around the top is so thin I'm not sure how it wouldn't rip. Pretty disappointed after paying about $30.

Great product. Just took too long on delivery.
