Great product but extremely niche. Worst showcase of this type of soap. Possibly discontinued?
A handy but incredibly niche travel soap. Usage is not the most intuitive and the body wash is in my opinion Sea to Summit's worst execution of this particular type of soap. With the shampoo and hand wash being a much better showcase for this form factor of travel soap. But if you need soap like this, this is a good buy.I was really surprised to see this product being offered. I was under the impression it had been discontinued because it's no longer available on Sea to Summit's website and you have to dig over a decade back in their documentation to find any information about it. You can only acquire it through the dealer network. This line of pocket soaps was originally offered over a dozen years ago. I don't know if it's availability now is a testament to how well it works or because it's taking them this long to clear out inventory. Probably a combination of both. When used correctly, this is a really helpful body wash for clean up in the field. But using it is not the most intuitive thing in the world. Each container has 50 thin sleeves of soap. The basic concept is simple with dry hands you remove a sleeve and wet it to create small quantity of liquid soap to wash. That much is explained in the very brief instructions in the back of the container. But doing that effectively takes some practice. Because the sleeves dissolve very quickly in water and if you use too much water it's challenging to hold on to the soap or properly sud it up. If you Google around you can find a 13-year-old video from Sea to Summit showing exactly how to use it which is quite helpful if you're struggling. The gist is you keep the dry sleeves in the palm of a dry hand. You wet the the opposite hand and use it to gently wet the sleeves while rubbing in a way that increases the suds. You can't use it as a mini bar of soap. And much like the old Sea to Summit video, I had the best success when pairing it with my StS Kitchen Sink or other small water receptacles.Once you figure out how to use it, it works pretty well. It's quite refreshing to use. I definitely feel cleaner after and it's a genuine quality of life improvement in the field. The soap is leave no trace friendly and has a very minor but pleasant smell to it. The containers are very small and easy to pack away but made from a high visibility green plastic so you can usually find it in your pack. Just don't have them floating around loose as I found the plastic containers to be a little bit fragile. They won't shatter but they will break apart if they bounce around too many things. I've been happy with them and I will continue to use the rest of this set in the field for the remainder of my work season (I am a professional outdoor instructor). That said, I do think it's the worst showcase of this format of soap. The hand wash version only really requires 1 sleeve to be effective. Depending on your hair length you might only need 1 or 2 sleeves for shampoo. But with this body wash soap in my testing I found I had the best success with at least three sleeves. So your going to be burning through your supply a lot faster then the other soap varieties. If you absolutely need this form factor of soap so be it. But even in the world of ultralight backpacking you might just be better suited with something a little bit larger and longer lasting. This soap is for when you have travel restrictions that prevent you from bringing other options, or you need the smallest possible option and don't need to use it for very long.I guess what I'm saying is this is a great soap within its niche but it's very niche. If you need something in that niche this is a good value. But for everyone else you'll be better off with larger sturdier and longer lasting hand soap and body wash.

Works great!
I recently purchased the Sea to Summit Trek and Travel Pocket Body Wash. I like the product, but the packaging was fine. The body wash comes in a plastic container that snaps back together so you can feel easy just tossing in your pocket of pack for hiking or moving a camp site.

Works but a bit tricky
I love how light and compact this is. I’ll keep it in my camping gear as we’re always forgetting to clean up well before eating. Thereis no excuse with this. Just a splash of water from your bottle and 2 leaves and then rinse.Great for trail, campsite, car or anywhere you need to clean up.The container is a bit on the light side so put it in the compartment where it won’t get banged much or it may pop open on you.

Works well
These work pretty well, and I trust that Sea to Summit did some research and that these are better quality and safer than generic versions, but the current price of $6 per container is a bit much. It's also odd that the way they were packaged, they are able to be opened. If they're something you're thinking of trying as a camping accessory, they're certainly up to the task.

Why didn't someone think of this before?
I had to try this pretty much as soon as it arrived on my doorstep. I took 2 "leaves" of the soap and put them in the palm of my hand, put a splash of water in my hands, and took my other thumb and rubbed the sheets for 7-8 seconds until I had liquid soap in my hands. I wet my hands a little more, and yes, got suds (see picture). The scent was light but pleasant, not overbearing. I rinsed my hands off, and they were clean. They say you can use 1 or 2 leaves (aka sheets) of this, and maybe I'll try just 1. Regardless, this is a pretty tiny container from which get 25-50 hand washes. They removed the water, so it's super lightweight, great for camping, hiking, etc., as long as you have a little water to add and then use to rinse later.Definitely taking a pack on my next backpacking trip. 5 stars!

No Scent. No Residue. Just Clean.
We car camp and backpack. These comply with leave no trace. They will be great when we have our yearly creek tubing trip at a car camping campground. (Would be nice to wash up a bit after tubing all day. We just need a shower tent.)They have no scent. Suds enough to wash. I found on sheet got my top half (arms, front, and arm pits). My skin felt clean afterwards. This is exactly what I was looking for in a camp/backpacking soap! They are light, pack well, and do their job all while keeping the environment safe. I wouldn't use them near a natural water source, though. Like going to the bathroom rules when out in nature, give some space between washing up and creeks/rivers/ponds/et cetera. Let the ground do it's filtering job of taking your dirt and oils away before it hits a natural water source. This is a great soap!

Compact and does the job.
I camp regularly and this is a super compact way to carry soap. Lathers well although I did have to use more than one sheet.
