Beautiful print of The Wave, good strip of self-sticking paper
This 10'-long piece of wall paper has the pattern of The Wave on it, repeating vertically. It's a strong, durable material that will withstand an installation and subsequent use-and-abuse. It's sturdy and looks excellent. As shown in the installation video, there's a grid on the back to make cutting easier, and it's easy to install smoothly and easily if you burnish it onto the wall as you slowly peel off the backing paper. Also as shown, it's easy to match up the edges of multiple strips of the paper to make a repeating pattern across a wall. (Though as you can see in the other product photos, that can be visually intense. I'm considering framing a smaller section of this as art rather than papering a whole wall with it.)Good price, good product!

Ok purchase
Ok purchase…. It is really hard to line up when putting it up. Also, it was starting to unstick so we had to buy some spray to make it stick.

Thin, but beautiful
JiffDiff Japanese Sea Wave Peel and Stick Wallpaper Blue White Waves Wallpaper Self-Adhesive Ocean Wallpaper Removable Wall Decor Contact Paper (17.3" X 120") is thin, but it is beautiful.I definitely consider myself a peel and stick aficionado. I have wallpapered so many walls and surfaces, I can spot a great wallpaper by seeing it from 20 yards. This paper is stunning and adds a beautiful Asian inspired oceanic design to any space. You need to use care when working with it. It will tear and stretch if you are not very careful in your application. It is also more likely to get bubbles and puckers due to it's thin composition. On the flip side, it is very sticky and adheres really well. It is movable and removable. Again, careful application is definitely the key to success with this. The repeat on this paper is also kind of tough. I would recommend ordering at least one extra roll to account for the repeat, Overall, I am pleased with this item.

Great product! Very easy-to-use!
I absolutely love this! The graphics are so vivid and the colors are amazing! I used this on an old end table dresser I'm redoing. It really looks alot better that I added this wallpaper on the sides. It really sticks very well and it's so easy to use. It cuts very easily and if you want to remove it you can do that with ease also. This is such a fun and cool product and I'm very excited to use it again on another project! All around I think this is such a great product!

Nice print but crummy vinyl..
Full disclosure, this was my first attempt at vinyl, adhesive backed wall paper, but I do have experience applying other vinyl wrap items to other stuff. This wall paper was pretty thin and it ripped easily, especially when doing the overlap in a corner. The other thing is, it hasn't stayed stuck very well at all. The instructions will tell you to thoroughly clean your wall before application, but I sanded and prepped my wall and then painted it semi gloss white, so the paper went over fresh, clean and shiny substrate. My result is probably better than somebody that tried putting it over a flat finish or a dirty surface, but the edges of the paper were already lifting the day after I hung the paper. Also, this stuff shrinks ALOT after you've applied it. I overlapped the edges by about a 16th of an inch, and now I have quarter inch gaps between the paper edges because it shrank that much! I gave the paper 3 stars because the printed design is lovely, and because I think I could do the job better if I tried a second time, but what I'd REALLY like to have is this same design and print quality on BETTER vinyl..

Poor quality
I wanted to love this wallpaper because I love the design of it. But upon arrival I was shocked how poor of quality it is given the price point. The wallpaper is super thin, like actually paper thin. The print itself if very flawed and low quality if you look closely at it.(see photos) Applying it was pretty hard as well due to how thin it was. Every time I used the squeegee to smooth it out, it wanted to rip, therefor the end result had lots of bubbles in it. Also the sticky back was really weird and left a gummy residue on my hands! I imagine if this sits on a wall for any length of time, it’ll probably be left with a sticky residue that won’t be easily removed. I’ve installed countless wallpapers in my life of all types, so I can firmly say this one is probably the worst I have ever encountered. I would not recommend it to anyone, unless quality and ease of installation isn’t important. With that being said, I did make it work on a very small area on my sons bed, but I won’t be utilizing any more of it.

I wish there was more of an offset so it didn't look so busy
Still I LOVE the Great Wave off Kanagawa. There is a reason for it - back in the early 70s, when I graduated from High School, computers were in their infancy. A small marketing firm was asked by a client to create a memorable ad that presented the future with computers and other things not yet imagined. This company took a copy of the Great Wave off Kanagawa and did the most astounding piece of "digitized" artwork I've ever seen. So what? It was all done by HAND as there were NO computers that could do it YET!!! The left side of the print is this typical print of the Great Wave off Kanagawa, the center of the print is pixelated and the right-hand side the "waves" are digitized into 3D planes of lines. An amazing lithograph and since then I have absolutely loved this print! As I said, I wish the waves were a bit more offset so they weren't as busy as they are on this print. In small pieces, this is a really nice print and the roll will last me through several craft projects.
