This has a very strong magnet!
I bought this to replace one I lost. The magnet on the end of this one is larger, and very strong. Quite nice!

It works
A clamp slipped into an opening in my car that I couldn’t reach by hand. This magnet retrieved it quickly. This this magnet could pick 5 lbs. It’s a good tool to have around.

Strength
Strong magnet. It is used daily to pull coin sized disks out of a machine to move parts around. A previous magnet had issues getting some of the disks out but this magnet does the job first time around.

Magnet is good, but telescoping metal handle breaks easily
My brother-in-law played a mean practical joke on me and dumped 5000 ball bearings into my car. I’ve spent the last week trying to fish them out of every crack and crevice and bought these magnetic wands to help me do so. Both of them broke within the first day. The telescoping handle simply came apart. If you are using these for very light work, they will suffice, but otherwise you may want to find a more sturdy product.
