These aren't so much about what you hear when you strike them, as it is what you feel from the vibrations themselves. So regardless of how loud or soft they are, it's the vibrations that do the work.Play some soft relaxing music, dim the lights and gently hit the tuning fork to feel the sensation and the art of music. It can be a good family fun as well. My kids likes to play and pretend to be the professional.There's a soft and hard mallet included and a nice velvet carrying case for each tuning fork.Every tuning fork play different soothing sound in different frequency.

Bought this as an introduction to turning forks for dealing with stress. It includes directions and advises which frequency works for certain things. They are easy to use and the case is great for storing them after use. Even my husband has gotten into using them. So far, we are grateful for these.

The media could not be loaded. I'm new to the whole meditation and sound feedback. I wanted an 'entry level' set, that didn't break the bank. This is a great set to get started into sound feedback. I would have liked for this to have instructional videos, however, I did find plenty on Youtube that helped me use them. Other than that, I've been very happy with them. I've been using them for about a week now, and really getting into the art of sound therapy.
