My Grandson fell in love with Henry the moment it arrived
Fabulous Customer service as per usual. The unit arrived well before ETA and was soundly packaged. The Engines are very well made and are certainly great value for money.

Fun and excellent quality
Lovely toy of excellent quality. Nice and strongly made making it perfectly resilient to being dropped or thrown around. It's a good size, not small, not big. Just right for little hands to enjoy playing with. It works well and the little one absolutely loves it. Good value too.

Great set by itself but really comes to life with others
This talking Henry train is a delightful toy that’s perfect for young fans of the Thomas & Friends world. Its chunky design is great for smaller hands, making it easy for little ones to grasp and play with. The inclusion of two additional cars adds extra value, and the talking feature brings the beloved character to life straight out of the box—batteries included! The interactive functionality with other engines from the set enhances the play experience. However, to fully enjoy all its features, you’ll need a track and other engines, which may add to the cost but once brought together it really works well.Overall, it’s a charming and well-designed toy that will captivate young train enthusiasts, especially those already invested in the Thomas & Friends collection.

Great motorised Henry train toy for ages 3+
This Henry motorised train is a well-designed, lightweight toy that’s perfect for little hands to handle, making it ideal for young children aged 3 years +. It operates smoothly with a simple switch on the top, allowing Henry to chug along either on compatible tracks or flat surfaces like wooden or tiled floors. It requires two AAA batteries (that are not included). The train’s detail is impressive, with Henry’s iconic green colour and a detachable tender that adds to the fun. The ability to connect other cars or trains enhances imaginative play, and it’s great that this toy works seamlessly with existing Thomas-branded tracks and accessories. Whilst the lightweight design might initially feel less robust than older models, it holds up well to regular play and is easy for younger children to manage. One notable change is Henry’s more "cartoony" face, a nod to the newer rebranding. The toy’s compact size is also a bonus, requiring less space than larger track sets, making it an excellent choice for smaller play areas. This would also make an ideal gift for little ones.

Good solid build quality for the price
In a nutshell:Things I liked:+ It works well as a motorised train on plastic Thomas tracks. Also works on Plarail tracks if you have any of those.+ Operation is so simple that a very young child would have no problem using it. One pretty easy to flick lever on the top. It's also very lightweight and the wheels are easy to get into the grooves of the plastic track.+ The price of £13 is perfectly reasonable.Things I didn't like:- I'm not a massive fan of the cartoony flat faces. I appreciate that it's probably cheaper to produce a flat domed disc with one square nose detail and a cartoon face printed on it than it is to create a moulded 3D sculpted face like most of the other Thomas models we own. I think this is quite a significant compromise and I'm not a big fan.Do I recommend it?Yes. You can see what the model looks like from the listing images - if you're happy with that, the build quality of the model is fine for the price.

Fun and Recognisable Toy Train
My son isn’t really a fan of Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go! as he gets bored of the show quickly, and to be honest, so do I. However, he does enjoy the toys from the series, as they feature recognisable characters, are well-made, and are fun to play with. This motorised train is lightweight, making it easy for little hands to handle, and it’s simple to operate by flipping the switch on top. It takes two AAA batteries (not included) and can run on plastic tracks or flat surfaces like the kitchen floor. The detachable tender is a nice addition, and the train can connect to other vehicles and cars in the range, adding to the play potential. The toy feels sturdy enough for regular play, though it might not hold up to rough handling. I also appreciate the level of detail in the design, but I admit the cartoony rebranding of the characters isn’t to my taste. My son doesn’t seem to mind, though, and that’s what matters most.If your child already has a collection of Thomas & Friends toys or tracks, this will make a great addition. It’s fun and engaging. How I rate the products:5 stars: Performs perfectly, as advertised, and exceeds expectations in quality, functionality, or presentation.4 stars: Works well but may have minor flaws, slight deviations from the description, or issues with packaging. Still a good purchase.3 stars: Adequate product that works but lacks standout features or quality. Feels average in performance or design.2 stars: Subpar product with noticeable flaws, poor quality, or questionable durability. Usable but disappointing.1 star: Arrived broken, unusable, or completely fails to meet its intended purpose.

Great
This is actually way cheaper than I remember it being but it's a superb toy, it's lightweight but also chunky so easy for kids to get a hold of, the colours are bright and it's ready to go straight out the box with batteries included which is always a pleasant surprise. Well made toy, looks great and will provide hours of fun
