Cons: Fur magnet and wrinkly on arrival (needs a good iron, and there's a lot of fabric, or something. I'm going to send it to the cleaners), the shirt may require some modesty underneath as it's a touch see-through (or maybe just...obvious?). It's by no means sheer though.Pros: Lovely, fit is perfect (and super comfortable!!!), but it fits perfect, flows perfect, "sits" perfect, "falls" perfect. No obvious loose strings when I tried it on, arrived in a quality recyclable plastic bag.This will be great at my cousin's wedding. Not too showy. May post a pic of it the day I wear it. Also, hoping to put a petticoat under, which looked really fantastic, but it depends on if the petticoat I want has arrived. Because of how it moves and sits on its own, it does not require/demand a petticoat. I just want lots of poofs. :D if you are short like me (5'1"), a petticoat will also bring it up off the floor. I put the waistband of the skirt around my natural waist, as appears to be pictured, which also helps with the length for those of us vertically challenged.5* because of the pros. The cons to me aren't bothersome as they are easily remedied.**Update: Wore it to the wedding and RenFest. I had it dry-cleaned beforehand. It does wrinkle easily (ie while in the car), but that amount isn't too interfering or even noticeable other than to myself. It was lovely. I received tons of compliments on my whole outfit! Definitely want to buy all the colors now, though I wish they sold the skirt separately (they are separate pieces).The top is likely see-through, but I used a nude (skin colored) strapless, padded, VS bra (the one I have sticks to the skin so didn't need adjusting)...It wasn't visible through the top at all, and it looked really wonderful.I did end up using my own homemade petticoat, and that worked out well as well. I looked like a ritzy peasant. A little girl asked me if I was a fairy. ^_^I'm short, so I had to tuck in the top elastic to not step on the dress, but also still had to lift a bit while walking. Nothing end of the world-ish. It looked really lovely and if I wasn't wearing flats, the dress wouldn't likely have touched the ground so badly. (also, I could've had it hemmed a bit, but didn't have the time for it)...Thank you for a lovely dress! (this material is quality, truly)...I also saw one or two other people wearing this dress at the RenFest, and it was worn splendidly. :)

Being that I'm 6 feet tall, this skirt was short for me but I expected that as very little "off the rack" items are long enough. otherwise, the dress fit very well & the top was soft but sturdy. The skirt flows very well - I even wore it for a while with a hoop skirt underneath it and it took it like a champ! All in all, I was very impressed with the outfit & will very likely be purchasing the other colors that it is offered in. To be able to get basically an entire outfit at such a wonderful price is very handy. This is a very good outfit for anyone just starting out going to ren fairs or anything like that.

Obviously needs to be ironed before wearing but it's a really nice set. Fits true to size. The material isn't flimsy and sheer like some other costumes. I paired it with a corset (also from Amazon) and belt. The sleeves are a bit long, I might hem them up a bit. Just the look I was going for - very happy with my purchase!

This product was the perfect Renaissance-themed costume to wear this past Halloween for our work party. Comfortable enough to wear during a full 9-hour work day and paired with simple accessories, this ensemble had me receiving many compliments!It has a style you can mix and match with varying degree (accessories, belts, corsets, etc.) depending on your targeted "theme" or "costuming" you are aiming for.The skirt is definitely a bit heavier with the fabric as some have mentioned but is sewn quite well and incredibly comfortable to wear (especially with bike shirts underneath). The colored portion is sewn to the waist of the black portion on the shirt, but the fabric is able to lift up (I used a leather skirt hike to add whimsy and a final touch to the style I was going for).The shirt is a bit sheer so you'll probably want to wear a camisole or undershirt on underneath as I did, but it fits comfortably and looks great with a simple corset belt across the middle.All in all I was incredibly impressed with the fit. Sometimes it can be scary purchasing clothing online, especially when you're a bigger girl (I'm 5'6 and around 225-230lbs) but this was not only a nice fit in all areas but also looked great and was quite comfortable.If you've been considering it? Just do it!

Actually loved this. I got it for the renfair and the top was really comfortable and breezy. I wore it under a corset and had it off the shoulder. I even wrote the top for normal day work clothes with a different skirt. The top will mostly stay off your shoulders because of the schrunchy design but slides a little bit up after a lot of arm movement. The cinched waist made it (when worn alone) very pretty and made my waist look smaller and bigger boobs. The top is very very lightly seethrough. You could hardly see my pale blue bra through it but if you were really looking it was there.As for the skirt, it was light and thick so it was not seethrough. It was not heavy so walking in the Arizona heat was very doable, hard to do in a red and black "double" skirt so I eagerly wore this both times I went I the fair.Over all, it's a cheap outfit comparably to most of this quality. 10/10 would recommend.
