I have been a Bible-believing Christian for almost fifty years. During those years, one particular area of interest in my studies has been numbers, symbols, and "types". A type is God orchestrating real events to illustrate or model His ultimate fulfillment of those things - think Abraham's "offering" of Isaac and its ultimate fulfillment in the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ.One of the things that should catch our attention in the Bible is that EVERYTHING is, or is about, numbers. God enumerates the days of creation, the weight of the air, the hairs on our heads, the sands, the stars, every sparrow that falls to the ground, the days of our lives, the prophetic times, and countless (to us) other examples. Great truths of Scripture are tied to numbers and how they are handled. For instance, a day and a thousand years can be interchangeable when applied to the prophetic timeline. The underlying structure of the Bible itself enumerates books, chapters, and verses, but more important, in the original languages, EVERY letter is also a number, both ordinally, and by assigned values.During the past couple of decades, there have been ground breaking discoveries in the area of Biblical numbers/mathematics. Many of these discoveries are verifiably highly significant, and we dare not ignore them in this age of apostasy and unprecedented attacks on the Bible and truth itself.Unfortunately, this is an uphill battle. "Numerology" is often tied to superstition, "secret knowledge" (Gnosticism), and divining the future. These dangerous false doctrines are forbidden by God. Since this field is so new, it lacks the formal types of peer review that other areas of Biblical study have available. Because of this, I have seen some of the aforementioned problems, along with sloppy and non-significant "discoveries", so evaluate sources by their professed doctrine and actions before delving into their specialized assertions.With that said, I urge general caution and prudence before even venturing into this field of study. If you are a new Christian, gain a foundation in the "plaintext" message of God's Word and sound doctrine under the teaching of mature believers living out their faith daily before digging deeply into specialty areas of Scriptural study. If you are not applying the Bible in your daily thoughts, words, and deeds, your knowledge about the Bible will not benefit you at all.However, if you are a maturing believer, and especially if you are an evangelistic witness of the Gospel, you owe it to yourself to add this area to your arsenal. There are many proofs of God, but this mathematical proof of the divine origin of God's Word is foundational and unique to the Bible.Finally, to my beloved Jewish friends entering this era of what will be the harshest persecution ever, and which will be followed by a false Moshiach and false peace treaty, this book will challenge you as well. These discoveries apply to the TaNaKh and some are already known to, but hidden by, those within Judaism who should know better. I understand if you question the conclusions, none dare ignore the evidence. Saul (Paul), who studied under Gamaliel, praised the Jews in Berea because they "searched the Scriptures daily [to see] whether these things were so". I urge everyone to be as diligent in their own studies. The sixth day will soon draw to a close with unimaginable darkness and violence, but take hope. The dawn of the seventh day is on the horizon.

My first exposure to Greek and Hebrew standard gematria was in 1978 with Del Wasburn's "Theomatics", and his Angelfall web site. I am also familiar with Zach Hubbard's work on English gematria and secret society rituals that use it as sigil magic. I also know Dan Gleason and his work on Sacred Geometry, and his 8880 theory. However I have to say that Jon Elias and his peers have uncovered the most stunning and beautiful math patterns in the Old and New Testaments' texts, leaving no doubt that God not only exists, but revealed Himself to the "kosmos" (world) as the incarnate person Jesus the promised Messiah. There is no other rational conclusion to be had.

I was pleasantly surprised by how big the book was and the depth of information on page after page. John Ellias suceeded in his goal of proving God's existence through biblical gematria! I highly recommend it!!!

And, if you simply have a hunger and a passion for learning more about our Lord and Savior on a deeper level, this book is a must for your collection. John has discovered some of the phenomenal underlying mathematical proofs in both the Greek text of the New Testament and the Hebrew text of the Old Testament, especially pertaining to the biblical names associated with the Lord Jesus Christ. Elias' book painstakingly explores these numerical proofs of the various names associated with the Lord Jesus Christ and God Almighty, and leaves no doubt of God's existence.
