This DELIVERS hydration...that's for sure!
I am a 42yo skincare junkie with comb, sensitive skin that I am obsessed with keeping as youthful and healthy looking as possible. I also spend a lot of my free time researching skincare ingredients and different formulations. You name it, I will try it! I have been obsessed and beyond impressed with K-Beauty for the last few years now, so when I saw this serum, I knew I had to try it. I am writing this review after 2 months of continuous use of this product. I didn't introduce any other products into my routine during this time. The serum arrived quick, packaged in a completely sealed box. The box had a clear lot # and expiration date (2026) printed. Inside, a sizable, dark purple, glass bottle (I love that it's dark as it keeps light from getting to and turning the ingredients) has a screw off, eye dropper distribution. It is easy to dose out and keeps the product clean, as there is no cross contamination from the hands.I always look at the full ingredient list and I was happy that what was printed on the product page matches the ingredients on the box. This formula is interesting to me. It is a blend of skincare powerhouse ingredients, beneficial extracts, and quite a few chemical compounds. This also includes some promising acids too, albeit in smaller quantities. While nothing strikes me as dangerous or worrisome, I am surprised that there are SO MANY different ingredients and chemicals in the bottle. Usually, K-Beauty gets right to the point and doesn't add all sorts of extras and fillers, but from what see, they all serve a purpose. There was just one thing I wish the formula didn't have- Fragrance. This comes pretty high in the ingredient list, higher than most of the ingredients that are really important/powerful and actually beneficial. The formula is a clear, transparent serum. You are going to want to give this a good shake before you apply it, just to incorporate all of the ingredients together. Some separation like this isn't worrisome or abnormal, as there are encapsulated ingredients in the formula (that are MUCH smaller in size than the not encapsulated counter parts, making them absorb better and have more of an effect) At first it seems like it would have a watery texture, but it is actually a bit thick. On my thickness scale (1 being water and 10 being a rich body butter), I would give this a 6.5. It is viscous enough to run down the face/skin and it spreads evenly. I do prefer to work on a section at a time, moving around my face- dropping the formula straight from the dropper onto my skin, using caution to not touch the dropper to my face.Interestingly, the scent is quite light and actually pleasant.I get migraines triggered by fragrance often and this has never caused me an issue. I pick up clean, fresh notes- like honey mixed with aloe. I'll also note that this has never caused me to have a reaction in any way.The formula glides across the skin easily, without pulling or tugging. It starts to absorb/dry down pretty quick, but it takes a bit (under a minute) to absorb completely. If you start layering too soon, or if you use too much product, this does tend to get a bit pilly. It layers well with other products though when it is fully absorbed. For the most part, this doesn't feel too sticky or tacky on the skin, but it CAN if you use too much product. A little of this goes a long way, so the bottle does seem to last a while.I noticed almost immediately (like- day 1) that this definitely hydrated my skin. The morning after that first application, my skin was super soft. Honestly, this is one powerful emollient, as it continued to deliver rich, deep hydration to my skin day after day. This impressed me A LOT because I started to use the product at the end of fall. That is significant because that is when I turned the heat on in my house. This has kept my skin baby soft and totally free from dryness as the (dry) heat remained on in my home (going up in temp as it got colder outside). Combined with the brutally frigid air outside, I usually always have issues with dryness around this time of year, but this came through for me...A TON!We all know that hydration is like kryptonite to wrinkles. All of this extra moisture most definitely kept the wrinkles at bay during my use. I can't say that I noticed any new lines develop, but I will admit that the extra moisture also plumped up my skin/filled it in, which in turn choked out the lines that were noticeable.I did notice some slight tightening too, but not as much as I had hoped I would see. Sure, my skin was more bouncy (again, attributed to the hydration), but I didn't really notice anything pulling up at all. This was a bit of a bummer because that is the whole point of Fibroblast (a procedure I have had done numerous times and is usually quite effective.) It involves 'burning' pinhole dots on the skin and as they heal, they in essence pull up/remove that skin that has been treated. It also helps to 'wake up' the fibroblast tissues and triggers them to produce more collagen and elastin. It's not my favorite procedure, so I was looking forward to getting somewhat similar results from this product. I wasn't expecting the SAME results (I am realistic), but the fact I didn't get much of anything was a bit of a let down.I am giving this product 4 stars because it really is an INCREDIBLE hydrator. It has kept my skin super soft and baby smooth all though my trial. The increased hydration/fullness did lessen the appearance of some of the finer lines and kept any new ones from creeping in. Unfortunately though, I think that $20 for a K-Beauty product that JUST delivers on hydration is a bit pricey.

Great Moisturizer
I recently started using this moisturizer and I love it! A little goes a long way, and my face feels so smooth after I apply it. I haven't had any irritation from using it with my other facial serums.

Absorbant and hydrating thick serum
I like using this serum as it offers good hydration and absorbs well on my skin. It doesn't affect any of the other products on my skin, and layers well with my regular routine. My qualms with this product are that the firming effects advertised don't appear long term and there is no type of collagen that is small enough to be absorbed topically. This is fine for hydration but isn't the anti-aging miracle it's advertised to be.
